We had a nice stay at the cudgerie. Our host Steve was very friendly and prepated a very good breakfast (fresh fruit salat, bircher muesli and fresh baked bread)
There is a lot of wildlife around the mouse and you can hear and see the different animals. We don't See any cockroaches in the house. (We learned that they spray against them)
When we wanted to leave we found a huntsman spider on our car. We of course didn't know this spider and that it's harmless. Steve was very helpful and removed it with his bare hands and told us interessting things about spiders (& and took away our fear:-)

Stayed here for 3 nights when visiting someone in the local rehabilitation hospital (Eden) 6k away, having been in a local motel in Nambour when visiting that hospital. So - exhaustion was the order of the day not just for the patient but for us. This place was perfect for what was needed - the rooms clean, beds comfortable, and little noise as amidst a large garden and a good way from other houses / roads. Steve and Veronica were both very welcoming and kind as well as flexible. When there on my own after other family had left, they even invited me to join their family for a meal - how kind is that. If you are after a shiny new modern hotel this place wouldn't work for you (although you'd be hard pressed to find that here anyway!) But if you are after a traditional Queenslander equipped with modern facilities like good internet coverage and airconditioning in rooms - this is a great base for the area.

Room Tip: I stayed in the room at the back of the house and loved it - very private, lead on to the verandah and had an enormous bathroom.

Very friendly Hosts,Steve makes the best fresh fruit salad for breakfast and bakes fresh bread when needed which he served on the verandah each day whilst we sat in the sun.

Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Though it was not cold in the evening it was nice to light the
fire and sit back with a book, glass of red and relax.

Highly recommend Cudgerie Homstead for getting away from the rat race.

A beautiful homestead surrounded by wild-life. A restful evening by a cosy fire. Comfortable bed. Just the refreshment and break we needed. Followed by a lovely healthy breakfast. Highly recommended. Stephen was accommodating and friendly. Close to Noosa and Eumundi, a real haven

A friend suggested that when we visit Noosa, we must stay at Cudgerie. Good that we took his advice. Well, I must admit here that alternate stays available in Noosa were nearly double the price.

As we drove in the morning from Brisbane to Sunshine coast, we were contacted by Steve to ensure that he is around to help us when we arrive at the homestead. And, surely he was there and helped as with reservation at local dinner place. Rarely have we seen such a level of personal attention and service.

Stay was wonderful in a nice clean place away from noise of motors or machines. Chirping birds announced the morning. We had a wonerful breakfast served by the owners before we continued onto the next part of our trip. Highly recommended for those who seek an affordable and pleasant stay in or around Noosa or just a quite holiday.

Any issues to report? Well, GPS was bit unhelpful for I did not have the exact correct name of the road. So feed the right address as the place is some 5kms out of town of Cooroy.

Room Tip: Ring Steve and he would help you in making the stay a pleasure.
