Both my wife and I are keen birders and Sauce was recommended by good friends of ours, and we really weren't disappointed. Sauce has great patience, calm temperament and a vast knowledge of birds, as well as other flora and fauna. We were lucky enough to have the whole boat to ourselves, and Sauce as our private guide. After 4 days birding in Australia, Sauce showed us 22 new species before breakfast. When we're back in Daintree, we'll always ask for Sauce.

We took the morning cruise with Ian. It started out as a foggy cold morning, but luckily the fog lifted quickly as we got on the water. We saw a large variety of birdlife, snakes and some crocodiles, many of which would have been impossible to spot without Ian's sharp eye and familiarity with the area. Definitely worth getting up early for!!!
Thoroughly recommended.

I managed to get an afternoon run with Ian (Sauce) Worcester on the Daintree. It was an eye-opener and I also captured some great photos... Ian knows the area covered extremely well and can ferret out hard to spot birds and other creatures. We saw a juvenile Frogmouth in amongst dense foliage after Ian pointed it out. So you will see some remarkable critters.
There are crocs for those who need to spot them and some very beautiful birds in places. Ian has a great store of interesting information about most aspects of the rainforest so it is educational as well as entertaing.
I recommend this very well priced outing - don't forget to take your camera and a long lens if you have one!

I could not recommend Ian's early morning Bird watching cruise highly enough. You will see so many species of beautiful birds. As the sun slowly makes its way into the sky, the birds sing and frolic in the glory of the morning. Ian has an amazing intuitive knowing of which birds will be found where. Through years of observation this knowledge has been acquired. Access to this knowledge and experiencing the beauty of the Daintree river at sunrise is priceless. The amethyst pythons were also very beautiful! Thanks again!

Damn Sauce, this was a wonderful romantic trip with the 3 of us. It's amazing how you can spot the animals on the river! "Do you guys see it?" Nooope, but luckily for us you had your pointer to show us the animals. You are a magician in spotting! Keep up the good work, i'll defenitly recommand you.

Sincerely,
Tess and Robin
