Staying at Red Mill House was more like being honoured guests in somebody’s home. Trish and Andrew were so welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely room off the terrace overlooking the garden. The home cooked breakfasts were delicious. We chose Red Mill because we’re into birdwatching and wildlife, and we were not disappointed. Andrew and Trish are happy to pass on as much or as little information as you want. We followed up their suggestions for a local drive and saw lots of new birds. We took the wonderful early morning cruise on the Daintree Riever, and a self-guided day trip to Cape Tribulation, using Trish’s suggestions for the best places to stop along the way. We would recommend Red Mill House to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat but with lots to do in this beautiful part of Australia.
