Our whole day tour with Ziggy was amazing! We visited all of the main attractions throughout the morning, and sampled some bush food. We stopped in Horseshoe Bay for lunch and spent the afternoon exploring the remote beaches, before heading to West Point to see the sunset. The knowledge Ziggy has about the island is second to none. We will be back and will join Ziggy for another tour next time we're around.

We did the full day tour and experienced amazing scenery, beautiful remote beaches, tried various forms of bush tucker, snorkelled, fed fish and rock wallabies, saw koalas in the wild and finished off with sparkling wine and nibbles watching a beautiful sunset. On the way back we also saw fireflies which resembled sparkling xmas lights on all the bushes. Ziggy was a font of knowledge and felt like a friend rather than a tour guide. Could not fault this day at all.

In eight weeks of travelling, this tour with Siggy was one of our highlights. We were impressed by previous reviews but this trip was still beyond expectation. We got on with Siggy so easily and were fascinated by the picture she painted of life on this beautiful island. She picked us up as promised in her amazing vehicle and by the end of our three hours we felt that we had gained a friend. She loves the island and her enthusiasm and knowledge blew us away. We learned so much, as well as being hugely entertained. Do not drive past Townsville without popping over and spending some time with Tropicana tours. A privilege. Thank you.

Last Wednesday I did the full day tour. They picked me up from my accommodation at 10.10 a.m. and dropped me back at 7.30 p.m. It's a long day but so well worth it. The day included morning tea (coffee tea cake) and afternoon nibbles at sunset (sparkling wine, cheese crackers etc). We drove all over the island and saw mangroves, went to all the bays and beaches, saw wildlife (rock wallabies, koalas etc) in their natural surrounds, local flora was shown and explained to us, a lot of history of the island was also explained. There was an 1.5 hour break for lunch at Horseshoe Bay. In the afternoon we drove to all the bays that vehicles that are not 4WD can't get to and then the day finished with driving to West Point and watching the sunset with the aforementioned sparkling wine and nibbles. We then stopped to find fireflies on the way home. A perfect day! Could not recommend this tour highly enough. It was fun and informative. I also could have swum and snorkled (stinger suit would be provided) but I chose not to do these activities.

WOW, what an absolutely priceless adventure. Great service from making the call to book, right up until we got dropped off at the end. Ziegrid (not sure about spelling...) was exceptional with her local knowledge, care and welcoming nature. We felt comfortable & in safe hands throughout the trip, and could not have asked for a better & caring guide. The kids were hooked from the first sighting of a koala in its natural setting, to the "surprise" viewing at the end of the tour. We were very lucky that we discovered a baby koala, too young to fend for itself, and Ziegrid organised someone to come & rescue it. What a bonus, a great tour seeing & discovering soo many things about Magnetic Island, and we got to save a baby koala. My son might even have it named after him... We highly recommend you let Tropicana Tours show you Magnetic Island, you will not regret it!!!
