“Nice food”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

We had afternoon tea here and it was very pleasant. My family of four ate outside and enjoyed some scones, cheesecake, coffees and milkshakes. The people who worked here were efficient and there was a nice gallery to browse in.

“Interesting lunch stop”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

The food was fairly standard fare but reasonably priced and the staff friendly. There is a display on Malanda's dairying history which is worthwhile and a small gallery with photographs and prints for sale. This is a good place to take the family.

“Well worth the stop.”
Reviewed 3 May 2014

This place is really lovely.
The cows are just waiting to have their photos taken with the kids.
The original milk bar bought back memories.
The small museum is interesting for the kids to look at while waiting & the outside eating area with the old train carriage & plants was very pretty.
We both ordered the lamb & rosemary hamburger with chips & salad & a mango & raspberry smoothie.
Service was very good, our hamburgers were tasty, chips crunchy & the salad fresh. I also liked the relish served separately. The smoothie was delicious & huge.
Well worth a visit, will definitely return.

...this time but they were fab. Iced coffee came with lovely cream and other half's juice was ginger, orange and apple. All really well presented.

Atmosphere great and kid friendly. Cakes looked lovely but was full!!

Food plentiful and appealing. Worth a visit!!

“Relaxed, fresh and casual”
Reviewed 27 December 2013

When visiting we always have lunch here. The menu is thoughtful and caters for everyone's taste. The food is fresh and presented well. The meals are very generous and the price is affordable. The service is friendly and meals delivered to the table very quickly. Wow and the size of the iced coffee, no holding back here.
There is indoor and outdoor eating. We enjoy the atmosphere of eating outside, were there is a nice garden area and an old train carriage. Certainly a fun place to eat and be sure to take your camera as there are lots of fun cows waiting to have a photo with you. The small museum was like a stroll down memory lane.
