The setting is just lovely. The menu could have been more extensive and perhaps a bit more spicy as dishes had a slight sweetness eg the whole fish . It was very beautifully presented. Coconut pudding dessert was delicious..light and a perfect finish to a asian style meal.

We had the banquet here recently which was delicious. Great service as well. We were actually a little too full, so will probably go for a less opulent option next time!

Dining out should be an experience with discovery, recogniiton, surprise and satisfaction, and the meal I had here today provided all three. It was a pleasure to find staff who know the meaning of service and understand the food they are serving, and a rare treat for me to find a chef who, when presented with food intolerances out of the ordinary, rises to the occasion. We had lunch here, and the bushland garden setting on a beautiful day was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. Thank you Tamrind for a memorable meal and an enjoyable day. I will be back.

My husband and I recently took our guest from Adelaide to the Tamarind Restaurant for lunch. We had the Degustation with wines to match. This was one of the best meals we have ever had, the presentation was beautiful, taste sensations with every bite, wine match was also perfectly done.
Emma from the restaurant looked after us and she was the perfect host, very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.
We would recommend this restaurant to anyone, and as it was our first visit, we will certainly be taking our guests there in future.
Well done Tamarind Restaurant, a real Sunshine Coast Gem!

There were ten of us in our group and what a laugh watching the males trying to cook. Us girls sat back and enjoyed a glass of wine whilst the men cooked for a change. nice atmosphere , the ownners were very proud to teach us about all the fresh produce, They showed us how to cook fish steamed in banana leaves, sticky rice, luang probang salad, stuffed lemon grass, spicy laos curry, green papaya salad, all were outstanding. This school provides a unique day of cooking in open air pavillions amidst picturesque gardens and lotus ponds. after cooking all these lovely dishes we sat down to a wonderful feast.
