We purchased our $15 tour tickets to enjoy the café, gift shop, boutique roastery and chocolates tour. Well it was so worthwhile. Bottomless coffees, chocolate, tea and liqueur tastings. A self guided tour of the museum featuring so much coffee and tea memorabilia is mind blowing. An audio device for each person tells you about most of the fascinating pieces as you walk around the museum. Many of these pieces are over 100 years old. this has to be the worlds best museum for this type of display. Food and coffee is fantastic. The trio of dips is a starter but it was so filling and enjoyable. .. This is one business that has it act together well and truly.

Came here for a lunch stop and decided to pay the admission for the tastings and museum, which turned out to be a delightful surprise. The highlight was the museum showcasing a huge range of coffee memorabilia from around the world. I did enjoy the tastings, especially the chocolate and liqueur, and it was great to taste the different coffee varieties and blends even though I didn't find a stand out. A well stocked gift shop and nice café topped off the visit (the chicken skewers were delicious).

Tip - Pick up a Coffee Works brochure with the $5 admission discount voucher if you can.

Here at this amazing place today with my darling husband. Tasting a myriad of coffees, chocolates and liqueurs and having a yummy BBQ lunch. Thoroughly recommend a visit here if you are in the Cairns or Port Douglas area. Everything takes your breath away, including the gift shop, very reasonable prices too.

Second time I have been to this place and clearly the emphasis is on selling trinkets and giftware. Coffee OK and packaged ground coffee very expensive in comparison to their main competitor just outside of Mareeba on the Kuranda side (Jaques). The competitor is a breath of fresh air set in a plantation and the focus is on coffee not trinkets. The garden setting is magnificent and prices are brilliant. Won't be going back to coffee ( trinket) works again.

We were driving around and came across this coffee museum. It was amazing I cant believe how much stuff a person can collect in thirty years. There was so much to look at and it was great to be able to wander about by yourselves. It was good to be able to taste all the different coffees but to be honest to me they all tasted similar. I guess if your a coffee expert you could have picked the differences. Also I enjoy sitting down to have a hot coffee. Still it was a chance to taste different coffees which you don't normally get. The chocolate tasting was definitely a hit. I could taste the difference in them! I also loved wandering around the gift shop although I was terrified I would knock something over. Too much stuff in a small area. The restaurant area was also nice and the food that came out was delicious. Another review said that it took ages to get the food, which it did but it was hot and fresh when it came. The only downside (and I decided this when I got back to our hotel room) was that it didn't do a tour of a coffee farm. That would have been the ultimate experience. Still considering we just stumbled upon it I thought it was a great place.
