If you are looking for a friendly, superbly clean overnighter close to the airport and other Sunshine Coast places, look no further. It is not a luxury retreat, but in its leage of on the go motels it is one of the best we have stayed in Australia: great value, very hospitable host (without being overbearing), highly recommended.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The room was fine with everything you needed and a bit more. There was a microwave and crockery and cutlery to make a 'home cooked' meal easier to do. The room was more than adequate and clean. Good location with central Maroochydoren an easy 10 minute drive away. A supermarket and numerous food outlets was about 2 minutes away. I'd definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for two nights over Christmas and had a wonderful stay. The rooms are large enough and even has a separate wardrobe area. The bed was a double (rather than a queen) but we were told about this when we booked (although there are Queen Bed rooms). The room also had a flat screen TV, air-con, mini-fridge, microwave and crockery. Fresh milk was also provided. We found the room to be very clean and the owners extremely friendly. On our second night we also ordered breakfast for the next day (Boxing Day). The breakfast was cheap ($30 for two people for a massive feast!), tasted fantastic, arrived hot and on time. We did not hear any noise from either the road traffic or the other guests (the place looked full from all the cars there), even though on the first night I accidentally left the front window open (I also left the car unlocked and everything was still in it the next morning). There are a few shops and everything around, but as it was Christmas they were all closed for us. Would be sure to stay here again and recommend to all. Lastly, to top it off, the price was fantastic! $218 for the two nights and breakfast on one morning (and that price was for Christmas Eve and Christmas Night, could not do better anywhere else!).

Room Tip: If you like a bigger bed be sure to ask for a room with a Queen Bed.

Location is great with lots of nearby tourism spots, near to the airport as well. Room is very spacious and easily fit the whole family of 4-5. Very friendly service that you rarely get in a typical motel. The pool is great especially the hot days during Nov this year. My family will definitely visit this motel when we're back at Sunshine Coast next year.

Room Tip: Good lighting makes you breath easier and feels alot more spacious

We stayed here for three nights Sept 2012. Room basic but had everything we needed. microwave, toaster etc. Needs some updating but value for money. Only real prob was double bed . Comfy but a bit small. Queen would have been nice. Very clean and owners were friendly and helpful. Free wi fi . Within about half an hour to all places we wanted to see on sunshine coast. Only downside was people in next rooms sat outside our room on bench talking on mobile phone for a couple of hours. Had to put tv on to drown out their conversation.

Room Tip: ask for bench to be moved from outside window

This motel was alright, we only stayed there one night and it did the job. Wasn't the cleanest of motels that we have stayed in and we had a few cockroaches around the bathroom. Probably wouldn't stay there again as it's a bit of a drive from Maroochydore itself, but was fairly cheap.

While at a conference at Twin Waters, a group of us wanted accommodation that would be less expensive than the conference venue. This motel was a perfect choice at $69 a single for a basic but comfortable room with all amenities. The motel was spotlessly clean with aircon, ironing board and iron, microwave, frig and basic eating utensils. It is close to the road but, with windows shut at night, there was no disturbance from road noise. The owner was very obliging and hospitable. We were less than 5 minutes drive from the conference at Novotel Twin Waters. Two or three minutes drive took us to a small shopping centre with supermarket, tavern, "The Olive Tree" which served delicious Italian food in a beautiful heritage style building and a cafe 'Soul Foods' where we happily breakfasted each morning. (The motel also served breakfast but we chose to find a breakfast venue where all six of us could sit around together.) Three minutes drive also took us to a fabulous dining experience; "The Loose Goose". There is a pool and, although we didn't use it, we did use the area around it to sit and relax with an afternoon drink. We were not spending much time at the motel so were not looking for resort type accommodation. It fitted perfectly our needs for 3 nights at good value and close to so many of our activities.
