“Simply paradise”
Reviewed 6 July 2013

A friend had recommended this place to us for a family holiday, so we hoped Eco Village was going to be good. In the event we were overwhelmed by the warm service, location and standard of this family-run resort - it was just wonderful.

Easy walking distance to Mission Beach's restaurants and local foodstore, either along the beach or the road, but hidden away in a little bit of rainforest. Very convenient - although it's a drive to the nearest big supermarket, if you like that sort of thing.

We stayed in a self-contained bungalow with our two kids. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. We self-catered half the time to save a bit of money. Very nice too, sitting out on the balcony.

We really enjoyed borrowing the complimentary kayaks and fishing rods (+ tackle), taking a day trip out to the reef and another over to Dunk Island. Most of the time though, we just enjoyed the fact that the kids had made friends with others at the resort and could basically just run wild - safely - filtting between the swimming pool, Rocky Beach and Sandy Beach. Classic family holiday.

Thank you Daniel for your warm hospitality, going above and beyond every time of asking.

Room Tip: Rooms close to pool are good for kids, but can be a little noisy. Others are closer to beach or near...

Wonderfully maintained grounds and rooms. The property is tucked away by itself on a small rocky point but easy walking distance (either along beach or by paths/streets) to the main town centre with shops and cafes. My room near the restaurant was a little loud due to music from the restaurant, but otherwise very nice. Recommended.

As you know it can be quiet hard choosing a nice, clean place to stay when travelling. We could not fault this resort! All aspects of the property had been spot on from the service to the rooms and meals not to mention the gorgeous scenery surrounding you. Thankyou for putting "customer service" back in hospitality you made our quick getaway memorabile and we will be back.

Room Tip: The deluxe spa room was perfect

My husband and I spent 2 relaxing nights at Mission Beach Eco Village. We received a warm welcome and loved the local walks as well as the opportunity to explore the surrounding sugar towns. The local fish and chips shop provided a delicious fisherman's basket to take back to our room to share with a bottle of wine. A very low key and chilled out few days.

Stayed at mission beach Eco village resort in may 13. Both the staff and the resort exceeded my expectations. We had our 7 year old granddaughter with us and she was enchanted by the pool and beach. Everything on the doorstep. I would certainly stay again.

My husband and I just recently stayed a night here for our Wedding Anniversary!! We stayed in a Deluxe King Spa room and it was fabulous. The pool and grounds was amazing also. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open but once they find a chef it has a gorgeous outlook. Can't wait to return

It was raining during our stay in Eco village, so I'm sure we didn't take most from it. But still it was enough to state that the hotel is nicely located right next to the beach and a bit away from the shops and restaurants so that they don't bother you but still are close once you need them.
Rooms (bungalows) are clean and spacious, the pool is nice and the place is drown in plants and flowers. Very much recommended
