We spent two nights in our campervan at this Caravan Park. Amenities block was clean and tidy even though it was unseasonallly wet and blowy during our stay. The park is right on the beach and within easy walking distance to national park tracks andcthe surf club. Elvira was terrific and couldnt do enough for us. Her knowledge of the area and attractions was excellent.

We are staying 5 nights at this fabulous caravan park. Staff can help you enough.
The huge pool is beautiful with plenty of seating and 2 very large Bali huts within the pool, area. Plenty of sunbeds...lovely salt water pool with childrens slide into the pool.
We were luxky to be here when the Cassawaries came through and took lots of pics and also they have wallabies come into the park morning and night..lovely to see.... There is a shop attached to the park that you caxn get Pizza's and other fast food along with grocery items, and bait and ice if you want to go fishing. There is a boat hire place which was excellent over the road which we took a 4hr hire out and went out and my husband caught a large. Coral Trout...amenites great including a fabulous camp kitchen with even a oven...Everythng is imaculately kept.

Well done Bechcomber Coconut Caravan Park.

We stopped off here, intending to stay overnight. We loved it so much that we booked in for another night. We had a spotlessly clean and comfortable villa. The whole park is beautifully laid out, and you simply couldn't ask for a better position.....right on the beach. Very friendly, helpful and cheerful staff. We really didn't want to leave!

We arrived here on our first stop of a 14 day journey from Cairns to Sydney in a motorhome, during December. The site was quite small, bathrooms clean, reception staff friendly and helpful. You can see right out to the beach from the slab powered sites which we had. Unfortunately the weather was poor for our one night stay, blowing a gale and torrential rain which was a shame as the beach looks lovely. Stinger net right opposite park, sea so choppy whist we were there wouldn't have risked it anyway. Pool looked nice for children but we didn;t use it as only there for one night, Laundry facilities very good. Only downside was we had some very dry cooked chicken from the on site cafe, most of which ended up in the bin. Other than that a pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Powered sites near the beach,

Spent two days at this Caravan Park. The park is located across the road from a very quiet road and onto a beautiful beach. We spent hours at the beach and walking the beach. So peaceful and relaxing!!
From our Caravan site we had beautiful ocean views and even had a couple of wallabies wander down the road in plain view and head down to the ocean.
The staff keep this park in immaculate condition and are very helpful and informative to any inquiries in this area.
Unfortunately we were not able to access Dunk Island but as the staff informed us, the island was seriously damaged by cyclones but did see some Ulyssis butterflies while in the Mission area.

A nice relaxing stop on the road trip up the coast of Australia. This caravan park is beautifully landscaped, located directly across an empty road from the beach, complete with protective stinger net. The pool, camp kitchen and amenities are top notch and very clean. The free wifi is the fastest we've come across in Aussie camp parks and the staff are very friendly. The park is quiet but only a 10 minute drive from town/store. Wish we could stay longer!
