You can't come there only for the food (which is delicious) - having breakfast, lunch or dinner at High Falls Farm is more than just eating- it's experiencing and assimilating your environment, surrounded by the mountains and trees. Enjoy the indeed natural air conditioning (no walls) and the sound of the river and birds instead of traffic noises ;) You sit on a timber deck, overlooking the garden with it's various fruit trees - and of course it depends on the season which trees are ripe- but it's interesting even if they are not as the owners (Lynn and Andrew) might explain you something when they have time- otherwise you can borrow the map and explore the garden yourself....Back to the food- you can check out the menu on their website- it's kind of typical Australian and accommodates fish&chips lovers whereas you can get fine food like Prawn Linguine,Coral Trout ,Oysters and delicious entrées (Squids, Springrolls ..)- meat lovers don't miss out as well and for the sweet tooth you have yummy desserts. I would recommend the Pineapple Mint Crush or Tropical Fruit Punch for the drinks ;) Every dish is decorated with some fruit pieces served on banana leaves- so you eat with your eyes first ;) There is a kids menu and from my experience I can say that the kids I saw there loved the open area and playing in the huge garden or going to the river...
What else do you have to know? Ah, booking in advance is always good- if you don't come there with a tour of course. Well enjoy your lunch there and say hello to the owners- they are great people!

We visited this lovely part of the world as part of a tour for lunch and a taste of some tropical fruits. The setting is beautiful, beside a stream and sitting below the mountains. We tried a couple of fruits and had a tour through the orchard. Don't expect to be munching at fruit from these trees...most did not have fruit on them. Lunch was delicious..a buffet for the tour group. Worth a look and a bite to eat.

My family and I had a lovely lunch at High Falls farm which is positioned right on the side of an incredibly beautiful creek. We all enjoyed our meals, although my husband was a little disappointed at the portion size of his choice he did thoroughly enjoyed the flavour. The plantain fritters for dessert were lovely too. My only negative and this is purely my opinion, was that the owners had music playing in the back ground, which is sad as the gentle sound of the creek was lovely. A lovely place for a meal, would definitely visit again

We have been to High Falls a number of times and the experience is always enjoyable and relaxing. The food is simple, fresh, tropical and excellent value. The mango and strawberry smoothie is fabulous. The setting overlooking a pristine creek in the rainforest is calming and restful. The staff are always attentive and friendly. A walk down to the creek and around the grounds identifying the various tropical fruit trees is the perfect way to finish lunch.

This is a beautiful place to come if you feel like just chilling out & relaxing. Interesting menu choices. We love to come here as locals, to catch up with friends for a hearty wholesome breakfast. This is a family owned & run restaurant. The meals are always tasty. The owners have more days off than most restaurateurs, so are fresh & have a happy disposition that is genuine. Not open all days, so you have to phone to check dates and times or you may be disappointed. Great place also to hold a function as there is plenty of room in an open air environment. Great place also for families with plenty of room for kids to run around outside. A beautiful stream runs beside the restaurant so the place has great feng shui. Would recommend for any meal..also great for morning teas!
