Happened upon this place looking for somewhere to have lunch after visiting the Gorge. We were so happy we did. The service was great, the food amazing and the fresh juices just what we needed. It is really worth a visit if you are in the Mossman area

As we were passing through we thought we'd have a 'cuppa' and wait for the library to open (free WiFi). To our surprise the cafe offers free WiFi and have power points scattered throughout. The coffee was great and the berry smoothie even better. The flies were not appreciated though...but I guess this is Australia so avoiding them is near impossible. Wish I hadn't eaten before we arrived so I could try what looked like a delicious breakfast. If you're passing through I say why not but I wouldn't rent a car. (Sorry) Atmosphere and staff are very nice. Good job guys!

If you don't have a car , HIRE one for the day even if its just to visit this place , just the best home made meals , scrummy to die for berry smoothies in quirky jars , quirky village cafe with odd chairs , tables and sofas , pictures on walls , its just a fantastic old place , and what to choose ???? everything is so good and the prices are so affordable . Don't forget to get some lamingtons ... the biggest softest melt in your mouth ones you'll ever taste .Order them before you go up to the gorge , then on the way down go grab some lunch and pick up the lamingtons . You won't regret it

We went here for lunch because our first option had closed for the day & it worked out a great choice, best coffee in the district by a long shot. good choices on the menu, free WiFi. It felt more Melbourne than FNQ

One breakfast with coffee from a vending machine at our resort was enough, so we opted for the Junction Cafe for breakfast on our drive to Cape Tribulation. Our footpath edge seat gave us a vantage point to observe early tourist movements while we dealt with Eggs Benedict with ham and avacardo (me) and thick slices of raisen toast with butter and jam (wife) with excellent coffee and quick and cheery service. Also good value for money.
