Don't miss a visit to this indeed unique place. We were reluctant to pay to see these eggs but it was worth every cent and the man in the shop was really lovely.

It is definitely worth a visit to the Unique Egg. The craftsmanship is superb. Dozens of beautifully etched emu eggs are on display over mini lamps to show the detail. Amazing work not to be missed.

Large range of sculpted emu eggs.
Very diverse topics from Athens Olympiad to Twin Towers calamity.
Tedious works but great outcomes. Mounted over small lamps to shine through the etched egg.

It truly is unique. It’s the only place in the world (apparently) where you can see a display of emu eggs engraved by the artist. I can see why he took up the hobby because there’s not a lot else going on in St George. Fishing and birdwatching highlighted as the other attractions. It’s a small town and a great place to visit. The locals are especially friendly and helpful.
