“Very relaxing, with plenty to do”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2011

Throughly enjoyed our stay, Hosts were excellent and accommodation perfect. Fire was blazing away in our little cottage on arrival setting the mood for a cosy evening with local wines and yummy cheese purchased on our wine tour. Couldn't fault the place. The fire kept us warm all night, even with -5 degree temputures outside. Local wineries were magnificent with Ballandeens, Voignier Shiraz being our favourite wine.
We went with a goup of seven couples as there are numerous styles of accommodation from one bed cosy cottages to the large homestead with five bedrooms. We still had our privacy balance whilst being able to enjoy to company of good friends.

Within 2 kms of the centre of Stanthorpe you are in a beautiful bush setting with a flowing river and lovely cottages. We received a warm and friendly welcome and help to light the fire and settle in. The cottage built for two was just lovely with a fully stocked kitchen - warm fireplace - lovely bathroom. We self catered but would try the breakfasts next time. Our only disappointment was that we were staying for only one night. We must return and enjoy a few days retreat at this beautiful property.

Can't thank Kerrin and Tony enough for providing such a special place to stay.
From the moment you arrive you are made to feel so welcome, you can't help but chill out here.
We all really didn't want to leave, and will be telling all our friends about it.
Great for a big group of friends, but equally perfect for a couples getaway.

We stayed in "Forget Me Not" cottage, an apt name as we certainly wont forget our stay at Diamondvale! It felt more like we were staying with friends. Kerryn made us feel immediately welcome and showed us to our cottage. It had all the comforts and a fire going in the stove. Breakfasts were served in the room and were delicious. Next time we might arrange to have them in the bark hut down by the creek. Kerryn really knows her business and made a couple of excellent suggestions of places to see. The trip home via Killareny was really enjoyable and a part of the South East we hadnt seen before. We'll certainly be back.

Tony and Kerrin are the most hospitable persons I have ever met in the hospitality industry. Their welcoming smile, friendly approach and accommodating attitude is very comforting for a stay away from home. There is nothing they cant or wont do for you. The cottages are fully furnished with many comforts from home like - books, magazines, boards games, cards, personal toiletries you may have forgotten to pack to cling wrap and foil in the kitchen so you can take home all the yummy food they prepare for you. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here whether it be a romantic getaway, a family trip or a weekend away with great friends. Once you have experienced Diamondvale you will be looking for every opportunity to get back there.

Diamondvale is one of those places that you need to visit to appreciate just how accurate these reviews are. From the moment of your arrival down the driveway, you are made to feel not just welcome, but like you are home. It is easy to see that Tony and Kerrin love what they do and love sharing their wonderful home with their guests. The cottages are warm and cosy with the fireplace adding that genuine feel to your stay on a cool evening. No small detail is too much trouble for Tony and Kerrin, whatever you need or want they are there to help. The breakfasts are absolutely extrordinary - a must as they are delivered to your cottage! The property has an variety of wildlife - horses, chickens and dogs. All are very family friendly and well behaved. If you are looking for a place in or around Stanthorpe, you really cannot find a better place to relax and unwind before exploring the local region. Thank you both so much for making our visit such a pleasure - we will most definitely be back this year.

Room Tip: Talk to Tony & Kerrin and look at pics.

From the moment you drive into the property you can feel and see this place is very special. Tony & Kerrin are wonderful hosts and immediately make you feel very welcome.
This was our second stay at Diamondvalle Cottages but this time we brought some close friends with us. It was exactly how we remembered, absolutely brilliant!
If you are visiting Stanthorpe this is the place to stay.
