There are only Positives that can be shared about Diamondvale B&B. Myself along with 7 other women celebrated my 50th Birthday where we stayed in the most comfortable, luxurious and warm accommodation at the Diamondvale Lodge. The lodge is situated on the opposite side of the creek to the B&B cottages but you are still looked after ever so well by your hosts Tony & Kerrin. These people are "Diamondvale", you can see their passion and their hospitality oozing from the property. They couldn't do enough to make our stay ever so special. I had a group of women travel to celebrate with me, gals from all walks of life and every one of them was impressed by both the accommodation and the warm hospitality that they received. No one wanted to leave. Though it is a B&B, you have the option of booking the Lodge and using it an accommodation package only bring your own supplies, but we chose the all inclusive package deal which meant the only thing we had to pack were our personal needs for the week end. Everything else was sorted for us from the time we arrived. We were greeted by Diamondvale's Hosts Tony and Kerrin and made to feel like this "Luxurious" accommodation was our home right from our first steps through the front door. The Lodge has been purpose built to accommodate larger groups and it was fabulous with 5 Queens Size Bedrooms, some with an extra single in the room, big and spacious bedrooms so plenty of room if you were sharing with someone else. 2 of the Bedrooms were ensuited and were fitted out with everything a girl might possibly need ... such special touches could be seen throughout the whole property, right down to LCD TV's & DVD Players in each Bedroom. Dinner and Maxi Taxi were arranged and pre booked for our first night, Annies Italian .... Fantastic. Next day our hosts had booked our Mini Van and Tour Guide to take us on an All Day Wine Tour around the beautiful regions of the Granite Belt and this tour also included a lovely lunch in one of the local restaurants. Arriving home rather "cheerful and a little weary" from the days adventures, we were able to just relax and unwind in the comfort of the lodge as our hosts had arranged yummy Tapas Platters and Wine for us to enjoy in the comfort of the lodge. TThis evening's meal had already been delivered and popped in our fridge and awaited us to eat at our leisure. Let's not forget the beautiful home cooked breakfasts that were delivered to the lodge each morning by the ever so cheerful and contagiously happy Kerrin. Honestly, this was the most relaxing and refreshing Break-A-Way, not to mention wonderful 50th Celebration, and I loved it so much, I have already purchased a week end in readiness for my Hubby and I to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary in 2011 only this next visit we will sample one of the more intimate B&B cottages as there will just be the 2 of us. I can highly recommend this property to anyone who is wanting to escape the ratrace and relax. Stanthorpe has so many wonderful things to offer, but most of all it was like stepping back in time to a Good Old Fashioned & Wholesome Country Community. The Lodge comfortably accommodates a large family or up to 5 couples, or as in my case 8 women, with plenty of room to move and you each own balcony, so privacy is not an issue, if you feel the need to retreat. Being a B&B some people may wonder if having hosts on the property is intrusive, well I'm here to tell you NOT AT ALL. Tony and Kerrin have the perfect balance happening of being able to ensure you have everything you need whilst not intruding on your time there. They are simply wonderful folk who make fabulous Hosts and make a wonderful getaway possible for their visitors I found also whilst organsiing this special week end that dealing with Tony over the phone or email, he was such a clear communicator and really understood what I wanted from the week end and went all out to make that happen. So, go on what are you waiting for, Call and make YOUR reservation. It books up fast. Enjoy. Lyndy K .. Cleveland, Brisbane.

Diamonvale B&B is not only a wonderful, relaxing, high qualty, quiet, friendly place to stay but if your into the natural world like birds then its simply a fantastic stopover in the great Aussie outdoors! Wander the property as I did and you will find wonderful birds such as parrots, honeyeaters, cockatoos, pigeons, fairy-wrens, pardalotes, kingfishers and many more! A great 3 day stay with first class hosts! You wont be disappointed if you stay at Diamonvale B&B in Stanthorpe.

If you are looking for that something "special" this is the place. It is beside Quart Pot Creek which flows through the centre of Stanthorpe. It has a rural, quiet setting and yet is little more than a stones throw from the centre of town. We stayed in a self-contained cottage which was beautifully appointed. Take the heritage trail walk along the creek into town. It starts right at the back gate. And then of course there are the hosts, unobtrusive but always available and helpful.

Myself and four friends had a girls weekend at Stanthorpe. Diamondvale was very quaint and cosy. The fire was lit when we arrived and the next day a friendly young lady came and stoked it for us. The breakfast was generous and the surroundings are beautiful. We did not get to enjoy them overly however, as it was too wet for walks. Tony was very helpful and booked a wine tour and bus pick up to take us to the theatre. The cottage had all the amentities you could possibily need and was very clean and well maintained. I would most certainly stay at Diamondvale again if I go to Stanthorpe.

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and we couldn't say enough about this beautiful BnB. Tony and Kerrin our hosts couldn't do enough and were so charming. We stayed in the Forget Me Not cottage and it had a warm romantic feel. The breakfasts alone are enough to go back for let alone the huge property that you could freely walk and explore. The resident animals made it just that bit different. Thoroughly recommend this as a quick get away or an extended stay.
