We braved the SEQ floods to make it to Stanthorpe from Brisbane, and although it was a long drive (had to go by the coast), we were glad that we were able to make it to this lovely B&B. It was our very first time staying in a B&B and after being pampered by Tony and Kerrin during our 3 night's stay, I don't think we could ever go back to staying in motels!
The accommodation was so comfortable and secluded, tucked away from the main road and yet only a 5-minute drive to the shops. The hot breakfasts prepared by Tony every morning were truly a treat to wake up to! Also, the antipasto platter prepared by Kerrin after our full-day winery tour was delicious! Tony and Kerrin are very friendly hosts and did not hesiste to tend to our every need.
We live in the city in Brisbane and had never had a quiet night with only the twinkling stars and rustling leaves till we were in Diamondvale. We were very reluctant to leave at the end of our stay. A big thank you to everyone (including the dogs Shadow and Cara) for making our stay so wonderful!More
