What an experience to be guided in this unique environment that has been kept original for so many years by the Jirrbal people.
We learnt a lot about the way they have still respect for nature and about their efforts to protect the rainforest.
Stunning highlights on the track we followed.
Highly appreciated !!

My girlfriend and I went on the Bulgan Creek Kayak Tour after hearing great feedback about it from locals in the Tully area. We definitely weren't let down and the peaceful, relaxing trip down the scenic creek was the perfect way to kick back on a Saturday morning. The guides are fantastic and are definitely a big factor in making this tour so enjoyable! They are very friendly, happy and accommodating of all kayaking skill levels and their traditional knowledge of the land is obvious. The rapids are easy to traverse, providing just enough of a challenge to make it exciting, whilst the fish and wildlife seen from the kayaks is awesome! Great tour, great guides and great value!

My wife and I did this tour on our honeymoon - Sonya kindly organised an unscheduled tour just for the two of us. Paddling down the beautiful creek would be good enough as is, let alone learning about the flora and fauna as you go. The rapids are pretty tame, but you do need to concentrate at times to avoid the rocks and collapsed trees. I found out the hard way and ended up in the drink - much to the amusement of my wife and Caroline...

Our Ingan Kayaking Adventure was the most perfect day out for our family of five. A great mix of adventure and local cultural immersion in one fun package! From relaxing paddling, swinging on rope swings, feeding fish, water fights, and tackling rapids, to a scrumptious damper and billy tea we couldn't have asked for a better day out! Our children aged 13,12 and 10 all confidently paddled their own kayak through rapids and along the most beautiful creek in the Tully area. Our guides Sonya and Doug were fantastic! We can totally recommend an Ingan Kayaking Tour to anyone visiting this beautiful part of the world. Adrian, Jenny, Sophie, Rohan & Kate.

In 2012 we made our first trip to Australia from Germany. Staying in Mission Beach we decided on booking the Spirit of the Rainforest Tour. It was a fantastic and absolutely unique experience! We were guided by the most competent and warm-hearted tour guides Caroline, Sonya and Doug. They took great care of each member of the group - I felt absolutely safe all the time. We were a small group of about ten people. So we could ask any questions we had (endless patience with foreign language people :)) and got a deep and personal insight into the history and culture of Aboriginal life. As one of the many highlights we will never forget the Echo Creek Falls and their natural beauty. A refreshing swim in the peaceful Healing Pond concluded a great day out! All in all a highly recommendable tour with fantastic guides!

Dearest Brigitte...Thank you for your review...we sincerely miss you and wolfgang both, if you ever come back to Australia, please drop in and see us. We are always humbled by the wonderful reviews that our customers post on this site.
Our knowledge base of the rainforest is thousands of years old which has been passed down from generation to generation. Our family enjoy sharing our knowledge and getting to know wonderful people such as yourselves from across all countries and cultures.
On the day of your tour you literally wallked in the footsteps of our Ancestors...Spirit of the Rainforest Tour is a walking trail that is really our authentic aboriginal trading route used by our ancestors to trade and barter with other tribal communities up on the tablelands regions of North Queensland. A lot of these trading routes are recorded in historical records by explorers who researched the North Queensland regions.
It's only with the local aboriginal people that you can have such an in depth experience about the rainforest and it's surroundings - the two are strongly connected which we demonstrate on the tour. Thank you for coming with us and we hope you and wolfgang are well...please come back and visit anytime.
