Arrive early and do hike in valley (self guided). Rest is great as per other descriptions ie good history, guide to digging, tour of valley. Great variety.

We traveled up from Longreach which is a three hour drive and it was 100% worth it. It was a wonderful experience and the tours were very worth the time AND HEAT!!

Thanks for your review Callan F. I am glad you made the trip out to see the Museum. Unfortunately as summer approaches it is starting to heat up... but that's all part of the Outback experience. Hope to see you back again soon :)

This is the start of a huge venture. So much work has been done and more is planned. The largest collection of Australian dinosaur remains. Over 10 years of work still to be processed. Three areas to tour. Cinema with real dinosaur bones, walking tour of Dinosaur Canyon and the laboratory. New sealed road all the way in. Well done team. This is a must to visit!

The whole concept is exciting and very well planned. far from being finished it is a work in progress that will only get better as time goes by. Wonderful for all ages except for perhaps toddlers. There is some walking involved and in hot weather this can be a challenge. The exhibits are amazing and beautifully crafted. The working laboratory is worth the visit alone. Food is adequate stake your own. Choose the cooler months to visit.

This exhibit is well worth the entry fee. The Fossil Prep laboratory with volunteers working on the found bones was great! We enjoyed talking to Tasia who showed us what she was working on. Audio visual presentations and the shuttle bus ride to the Dinisaur Canyon were very interesting. Seeing Sir Tony Robinson was a plus!

Thank you Anita T! You came on a very good day...after all we can't guarantee Sir Tony Robinson will be there on everyone's visit! I am so glad you got to speak with Honorary Technician, Tasia in the Laboratory - she is a prepping marvel and a fantastic asset to the Museum. Thanks again for your review :)
