Description: Operated by the 3rd and 4th generations of the Curry family, the Tea House at Lake Barrine has been offering delicious breakfasts, lunches, and cafe drinks, boat tours, and a beautiful view of the Crater Lakes National Park tropical rainforest since the 1920s. An excellent stop off on a visit to the Tablelands, or even a destination in itself, we would love it if you stopped by!

Reasonably priced, delicious and a great view right into the clear waters of the lake where you can see turtles, eels and fish.

Very pleasant setting by the lake good food and friendly staff.

I was surprised to be offered a Cream Tea as a choice in the first place and showed them the correct way of doing it - Cream on the scone first THEN the jam. We had a good laugh about it and their kitchen staff were educated for future UK visitors :-)

I was a bit skeptical of all the hype surrounding the scones at the Lake Barrine Tea House, however after going there I have to say...they really are that good. Soft and fluffy and warm, with homemade jam and real cream on top, I actually went back for seconds. My partner had a really delicious bacon and egg sandwich and the coffee was nice and strong. Combine that with the great view and the tranquility of the lake and you have yourself a lovely morning out.

Scenically beautiful location, the gardens are amazing and the traditional tea house spectacular. Had the best scones I have ever tasted here whilst over looking the tranquil lakes clear waters. Tea is very nice as well. This place is amazing defiantly will be back. There is also a child's play area with great variety of toys which is an added bonus for those who have little ones to entertain. The tea house Signage is not the best, recommend just following general signage to the lake.
