Most amazing tree, so easy to access to view using the ramp and walkway. Short walk into the rainforest to see a truly wonderful natural sight.

It's definitely worth a small diversion to see this incredible tree. It only takes a few minutes! The parking is ample and the boardwalk does a circuit around the tree and is very accessible.
We had the extra thrill of watching a female Riflebird with her 2 babies (just out of the nest) in a tree just beside the boardwalk. Take your binoculars!

This tree is an old favourite - every time I go to the tablelands, I'll pop in. This is a truly impressive sight and a fabulous example of the majesty of nature. Well done boardwalks make this really accessible to everyone and it is well worth the stop. So easy to get to when touring around the tablelands, why wouldn't you?

We were lucky to be there when no-one else was and were privileged to see a nesting wompoo fruit-dove and a male Victoria's Riflebird preparing his display site as well as many other rainforest species.
