“A quick walk and a lovely spot”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

If you're in the area, this is an easy excursion to a short walk that will take you to a circular walkway around the tree where you can admire the majesty and size of this amazing tree.

“Amazing tree”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

This is an amazing example of a "strangler fig". We were there with 3 boys under 6 who found it a little boring but for adults it's both interesting and beautiful to see.

“Stunning”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

We planned to visit this site while touring the Tablelands Falls and were not quite sure what to expect. It was quite a long drive the tree and it is not very well signed. There is a sign off the main road, but you can easily miss it.

So well worth the time to visit here. Plenty of car parking. You stroll along a boardwalk through some lovely tropical forest for a few minutes and then pow the tree is upon you. Well I could not believe how unusual this stunning tree looks. It is huge and really spectacular. Botany at the extreme end of the spectrum. Definitely worth a visit.

I come back to the Tablelands every couple of years and never not come back here to show my travel companions what an incredible piece of nature this is... Pop across to Gallo Chocolate and Cheese factory as well which is 5 mins away

“Awesome Tree”
Reviewed 13 February 2014

This fig is awesome in size and hope it will remain forever. It is so big I had to take 2 photo's just to fit it in frame. When walking to it just need to be careful about the wait awhile trees. These tree's have long thin branch runners that hangs down with very sharp hooks on them, so if you get it caught in your clothes, you must wait awhile and back up to remove it from you, thus why they name it that. This is a tree you must stop to check out if touring the tablelands.
