Did the 6 hour cruise and loved every minute of it. The commentary was so interesting and never waned. Walking around the midden site was the highlight of the day and also really enjoyed our lunch onboard. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the experience of travelling right to the mouth of the mighty Murray.
the commentary was excellent , and delivered very well.
There was an abundance of birdlife and seals.
We enjoyed the walks over the Coorong, and particularly enjoyed tasting the cockle.
Highly Recommended tour
It had always been on my bucket list to visit the Coorong National Park and I was not disappointed! Our family had a marvellous time on the Discovery cruise and I'd love to return to do the full day cruise in the future. The boat was comfortable, we loved the picnic lunch boxes and the captain and crew were informative and friendly. We spotted lots of seals, countess bird life, and we were lucky enough to even come across two kangaroos on the sand dunes walk. Both our girls aged 14 and 10 had a fun time and it was educational too. We had a rather grey old day (not raining) but it was still a smooth ride on the boat. Good idea to put some insect repellent on before you leave because there are biting mosquitoes on the sand dune walk. And a hat and sunnies! We brought extra snacks and drinks for our kids because there is no food available for purchase on the cruise. Thank you for an unforgettable day!
Very informative Pleasant tour loved it and highly recommend. Lots to see and do. Plenty of bird life and seals.
The warm greeting by the lady in the office was a great start to our Coorong Cruise and was made even better by the wealth of knowledge and experience of the captain and guide, Bain and his assistant, Lachie. We enjoyed pipis cooked on the boat by Bain, a delicious lunch of cold meats and salad, tea and coffee and cake for afternoon tea. We were taken on 2 guided walks, one to the Southern Ocean and one to see aboriginal middens and try some fresh water dug from a shallow hole in the sand. We saw seals and different birdlife along the way. I thoroughly recommend this trip.
Today we boarded the boot for the Coorong Adventure Cruise and what an adventure it was. We saw seals sunning on the lock structure while we sailed through the Goolwa Barrage, an abundance of birdlife all the way and had a taste of some Cocles prepared by the skipper Bain. We had a fantastic walk over the sand dunes at Barker's Knoll to the Southern Ocean Our host Lauchie explained how the local Ngarrindjeri People selected many vegetation for bush tucker and medicine. He demonstrated how they collected Cockels from the beach and lots of other interesting things. After boarding the vessel again we given a very nice and tasty lunch and sailed to Cattle point where we were guided by Bain to a few Middens used bythe local Aboriginal tribe and he demonstrated how the collected fresh drinking water from almost the top of the dunes. On our way back to Goolwa we were treated with some afternoon tea. Thank you guys for giving us these valuable lessons and looking after us so well.
