“Great Stay”
Reviewed 24 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We stayed for one week in April having travelled from Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road.
Although we booked as a B&B it is now self catering with breakfast provisions supplied and replenished as required.Peter and Marie leave you to your own devices but are around at various times re any advice required.
Peter will accomodate you with lifts if required and his wine tour is well worth it.
A good location for the wineries in McLaren Vale and the wing of the house you have is a good size.

“Great Accomodation”
Reviewed 14 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Stayed here for two nights for a family wedding being held in McLaren Vale with my wife and in-laws. We all had a very nice stay time.

Pete & Marie are great hosts, keep the place in beautiful condition and provide a nice supply of breakfast provisions. All in quiet native surrounds.

They look after their guest extremely well without intruding on your privacy.
Breakfasts were lovely and the outside deck area is fantastic for an outdoor BBQ or having a quiet drink.

Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. Pete kindly provided complimentary transport for us to the wedding venue at Middlebrook Estate.

Well recommended.

“Highly recommend this lovely B&B!”

Pete and Marie were the most welcoming hosts - they really made our stay fantastic. Their house is split into the BnB rooms that we had, with our own bathroom, small lounge room, tea & coffee, mini fridge etc and obviously the two bedrooms. We spent most of our time on the balcony which we had to ourselves and even had our own fridge outside and the BBQ which was handy. Pete runs the wine tours which we did one day and it was excellent - he was very knowledgable and knew the area incredibly well which helped. Aside from that the house is a few kms from town centre so Pete offered us transfers into town in his car anytime which meant getting around was easy and comfortable! They both cook an amazing breakfast which was also included and was an awesome start to the day. Would recommend this place to a family or couples, we had two couples stay for three nights and it was perfect. Marie was also very helpful with lots of emails and calls from me before our stay which helped us to plan our time there in terms of tours and getting around and other details. They really went above and beyond!

“Simply the Best!”
Reviewed 14 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

A delightful B&B in a quiet location surrounded by gum trees and vineyards not far from McLaren Vale. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. Marie and Peter were the perfect hosts and provided us with delicious breakfasts so satisfying that we didn't require lunches. Peter made us a booking for dinner, drove us there and picked us up afterwards so we were we all able to support the local wine industry.!

“Fantastic Tranquil location, close to all the wineries of McLaren Vale, hosted by friendly and down to earth people!”
Reviewed 10 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

A fantastic location nice and close to the wineries of McLaren Vale which is convenient if you want a few wines. Peter drove us around on a winery tour and took us to some fantastic little (and bigger) wineries which might not be on the standard list for winery tours. Peter, having owned his own vineyard knew a lot about the industry and region, and also knew all the winery owners which made for a great tour!
The accommodation was very nice with 2 rooms which would help for families / groups and a little lounge if you need some down time. Mari made an awesome breakfast too! Well needed after the winery tour the previous day. Peter was also kind enough to drop us into McLaren Vale to dinner at a great restaurant he recommended and picked us up, allowing for a few more wines.
Very friendly and down to earth hosts. Would recommend to anyone staying in the McLaren Vale area and looking for a more personal stay than your standard hotel.

“Beautiful setting, welcoming and generous hosts, top class breakfasts!”
Reviewed 18 May 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Quiet restful setting with great hosts.. Two separate bedrooms both most comfortable and a beautifully furnished lounge with a variety of reading material.
Breakfasts were a knock out!
Such luxury to be driven to and from the local winery Conference venue especially as there were dinners at night...so convenient.
The ladybird decor throughout the building and surrounds was a delight.
