Walhalla is a lovely town right up near the Canadian border.
The natural beauty of the area is reason enough to visit. If you do, stay here.
Deidre, the owner, is lovely and welcoming. It's been her family's home since the turn of the 20th Century. The furniture and photos are all family pieces.
I was given the Granada room, with it's exotic decor and super comfortable bed & pillows. The bathroom was shared, but I didn't have to do so, being so late in the summer.
There is no TV in the room, but internet is available.
Breakfast in the morning was superb.
It was only one night, but I can safely say that is the place to stay in Walhalla.
