“Beautiful and stylish house - great hosts”
Reviewed 4 weeks ago for a stay in June 2018

Julia and Pier are great hosts. Pier's cooking is to die for.
The house is decorated with a lot of taste and charm. We had a very relaxing week with good food and wine from the area. Will definitely be back.

“A wonderful hide away in Provence”
Reviewed 5 July 2018 for a stay in June 2018

We stayed at Julia and Pierre's place for 8 nights in June of this year. The location is very beautiful and quiet, tucked away in a valley of Le Beaucet. The town of Le Beaucet is very sleepy but beautiful and there is a nice little hike to an old Chateau. The houses in this area are all built into the mountain sides and are very unique. The apartment we rented was a 4 bedroom and each room had a bath and shower. It was very spacious and nicely remodeled. Being dug into the mountain, it was very cool all the time which was nice in the summer. No air conditioning is needed even though it is provided. The outdoor dining area and grounds and the pool were all very comfortable and picturesque. There were some small grocery stores, a few bakeries and a butcher shop in the town of Saint Didier about 10 minute drive away. Ther market day in Saint Didier was just the right size and very local compared to some of the touristy ones in the larger towns like Uzes or Gordes. Julia and Pierre were very helpful with tips on places to go and things to do and we had a few meals with them which were very nice.

“Reculer pour mieux sauter!”
Reviewed 8 January 2018 for a stay in January 2018

For anybody needing to retreat in a beautiful area and reenergize, this is the place to do it! Visited Julia and Pier for the second time in six months and came away with the same feeling of already missing it and wanting to get back to the Provence asap. Well appointed rooms, carefully furnished with everything you need and also the kitchens are well stocked and equipped. In Summer the swimming pool does away with any heat problems and the catering possibility should be utilized, Pier is one of the best cooks I know! No cellphone connection which is blissful (no need to look for excuses!) but a very good WiFi connection, so perfect. The markets and brocantes of the vicinity are fun to visit also Avignon. Golf Course just 30 min. away.
