Bathrooms were not well cleaned; wash cloths from previous guest were still hanging, hair from previous guest was still in the bathtub. The bed sheets had holes. Other guests would be loud.

Friendly maintenance men and a helpful housekeeping staff were the highlights of this property, which fell short of our expectations in every other area. The attractive exterior of this property and website's claims are misleading.

Room: Shower curtain and soap dish were full of mildew. A shortage of towels had us waiting for replacements til late afternoon on two occasions and not receiving washcloths or hand towels for two days on another.
Reservation: Before booking our stay, we requested a tour of a room. We were shown a first floor room with two double beds, which included a mini fridge and microwave. The agent informed us that a room on the third floor was available, which was the same only with one queen bed, our preference since we are a couple. Upon paying for a week, we went to the grocery store nearby and returned to our room to unpack our food and luggage only to discover the room we were given had no fridge or microwave.
Front Desk Agent: When I requested to be moved into the room we were shown, ft he agent informed me that it waa reserved and unavailable. My husband went in to seek resolution and was eventually switched to that room after being charged an additional $70, which the agent said was for the fridge and microwave at an upcharge of $10 per day.
Management: When I was able to reach the manager two days later, she told me that she was unable to do anything about the fact that we were shown a room, quoted a rate and then given a different one after we paid. I was given an insincere apology and told that because the room I was shown "shouldn't have had a fridge or microwave, I was just going to have to pay extra for them." Because I refused to accept the "bait and switch" that occurred, the shift supervisor eventually agreed to provide me with a credit toward two more days (the weekly rate was $50, which included tax, so I had to provide an additional $30 to complete the difference as she said a refund was not possible)
Amenities: The pool was inaccessible for more than half of our stay, and internet worked just two of the nine days we were there. Whenever we called to investigate we were matter of factly told that there were problems with no estimate of a timeline for resolution. There is only one washer and dryer to accommodate the entire property. When washing a full load, two drying cycles are necessary. The only time I utilized it, another guest removed my still-damp laundry from the dryer and left it on top of the machine as to finish drying their items more quickly.
Breakfast: If you want to start your day with a sugar high you won't be disappointed with the spread of carbs and cereal, but there's no protein or healthy options to be found. Encountering the coffee carafe empty was also common.
Clientele: Lots of transients at this property. Drinking and pot smoking in common areas occurred on more than one occasion during our visit.
Other Annoyances: Our key cards were deactivated multiple times during our visit, prompting a wait in line nearly every time we had to visit the front desk to correct it. The staff was never apologetic about this inconvenience. After being awoken at 4 a.m. by another guest misdialing our room, we disconnected the room phone completely for the duration of our stay.
