Have not stayed at a lot of them, but this is the one we would visit again. Good breakfast, friendly staff and hostess. Very clean and well outfitted room. Could use new TV's, but not necessary. Very quiet HVAC unit. Beautiful grounds, friendly animals, quiet setting if you just want to get away from it all. Close to everything you would want to see.

Room Tip: Ground floor for accessibility Second floor for view.

We only had one night at this charming motel, but it was really peaceful and enjoyable.
It's a quiet getaway in a very lovely spot in Ohio. The staff was friendly and the view of
the countryside from the hilltop front of the Inn is, well, spectacular.

It was pouring rain when we arrived late in the evening, but the staff made us feel welcome,
waited for us to arrive and helped us unload. We woke up the next day to a cool breeze and
sunny day in the quiet of the country. (Too bad that breeze didn't flow through the rooms for
cross ventilation...alas, the room windows face only the front side.)

Breakfast the next morning was OK and feeding the ducks in the pond in the back was fun. Didn't get to see the horses while we were there...will need to visit again sometime for that.

The staff recommended a nearby restaurant to us before we arrived and it was a charming
place as well in Roscoe Village not too far away. The Inn gave us coupons for discounts at
other nearby businesses.

This is an excellent place to stay in the Amish country. Don't expect cell phone service in the
area...it's not an region with towers...hey, it's Amish! The Inn has WIFI for Internet connections
and data stream, but why would you want it when this is the kind of place to get away from it.

Room Tip: Upper floor rooms have the better view, but you will need to carry bags up to that level. There is...

Stayed at this family run inn while our son attended a local camp. We found the rooms to be adequate and the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The inn has an inclusive breakfast, evening snack, and has partnered with local businesses for purchase discounts. The dining area offers a sense of community for fellow travelers and scenic views. Horses, ducks, rabbits, and "Charlie the Chicken" freely and safely roam the grounds. The inn is in Amish country, so cell phone and wi-fi are not reliable. Recommend doing your research on the area before leaving home and be careful when driving the roads. We will stay here again.

I always stay at the inn while visiting the Amish area. Wonderful home like atmosphere. Private, quiet, peaceful, clean. The views are gorgeous. The stable is an added bonus. The grounds are very well kept and invite you to walk around and relax. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

This is our first time staying here. It was so pretty. Lots of geese, rabbits, swan's, horses (although they were never brought down while we were there) and a small rooster that followed us around. Rooms were nice and clean. They had quilts on the beds, which I loved. I took my 2 kids and boyfriend. We had no cell phone service, but that didn't bother me at all. The only thing that I think could be improved upon is the breakfast. It would be nice to have a little more variety. Besides that, I loved it and would stay again.

Room Tip: Great place to stay if you like it out in the country as I did. But if you want the modern amenitie...

My wife and I were first-timers to the area and had no resource other than tripadvisor to help with the selection of nice place to stay. How delighted we were to have found this gem! The accommodations exceeded our wildest expectations! The setting is serene and peaceful, the rooms are extremely clean, comfortable and generous. The grounds are immaculate and home to ducks, geese, rabbits, birds, horses, even a beautiful swan, who interact and behave as family! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the setting is such that you make new friends as you enjoy the grounds and amenities. The breakfast is delicious. We didn't do the evening snack because we were away both evenings, but I'm sure it was as pleasant as the breakfast environment. This was our first quick getaway in years where we were literally sad to leave.
We stayed so busy enjoying Amish country, that we didn't spend time with the reception staff, but were fortunate enough to meet Erica when we checked out and she was so genuinely welcoming and friendly. We will be back, for an extended stay next time.

This was our second time to stay at the Guggisberg Swiss Inn-why? We returned for the clean, comfortable room, the beautiful, quiet setting, a wonderful hot breakfast and evening snacks, and the warm welcome. You are close to everything, yet not in an impersonal motel along a busy highway. My only wish is that they had a swimming pool!
