“Do not miss it!”
Reviewed 7 December 2013

This museum has always been amazing with the largest collection outside of the Met in the U.S. This art museum is free and the new wing connects with the older museum in a great indoor piazza that is just beautiful. Cleveland Art Museum has a wonderful education program for children and during our visit we saw many small groups of kids talking about art with very knowledgable docents. It was just great. Gift shop and cafeteria are good. Sit down restaurant Provenance is excellent.

“Amazing Collection!”
Reviewed 5 December 2013

If you haven't been to the museum lately you are in for a wonderful suprise! The museum has just completed its major renovation and it was well worth the time and money that it took. The new atrium is just wonderful to sit in with a cafe and restuarant that makes the trip worthwhile! Make sure you check out the interactive technology wall. I was told it's the only one in the country...

“Hermes exhibit fantastic!”
Reviewed 3 December 2013

I had visited the museum once before when traveling to Cleveland and enjoyed it then. But this time was even better with the renovations complete, an interesting traveling exhibit on art (and history) of Sicily, and then the Hermes scarf demonstration to top it off. A truly enjoyable afternoon!

“Wonderful, Wonderful”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

Everyone, young or old, will find many things to enjoy at the Cleveland Museum of Art. And unlike other major metropolitan museums, this one is free! I have paid upwards of $25 in other cities for a museum entry fee. The exhibits here are outstanding. The new atrium that connects the old building with the new building is a stunning space and is often filled with a special exhibit or entertainment. The current exhibit of larger-than-life bronze zodiac heads by sculptor Ai Wei Wei is excellent. The detail on each animal head is amazing. It was fun for each member of our group to find their zodiac animal, based on their year of birth. This exhibit will be at the museum until January 26, 2014. This museum is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

“very good museum with an interesting collection”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

this was my first time here, and i was quite pleased with the number of items on display. the museum features an expansive internal courtyard which is a nice respite during the cooler months and also provides some display space for sculpture (ai wei wei's chinese horoscope sculptures were featured).

admission is free unless you want to see the special collection (they were charging $15 to see "Sicily").

we walked to the musuem, so i can't comment on the availability of parking, but there seems to be a big lot across the street.
