“Good Stadium”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

This was my final stop on a four city baseball tour. Progressive Field was nice, but nothing really stood out, with the exception of the fireworks show at the end of the games. I guess it was an annual show. Definitely worth going to the game for. On Friday night we sat down the third base line and the seats were good with good views. The next night we sat in the upper deck and again the seats were good. Nothing really stood out to me about the Stadium. Some of the newer stadiums you can watch the game while walking the concourses but that is not the case here. Worth a visit. We stayed downtown so I cannot comment on the parking, but there are a ton of restaurants and bars near the stadium.

“Great Park!”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

Had to sit in the bleachers to feel the drum! But its hard to keep score while sitting in the bleachers. The scoreboard is great, but you can't see it if its behind you! If you look at the other mid-level scoreboards, they flash with other images and adverts more than showing the score. Forget about that nice home plate photo of the field. You will not be able to walk behind home plate unless your seats are in that section. There is a wall behind that section, so your photos will mostly come from along the standing room sidelines.

The Hall of Fame section is very nice. Wheelchair accessible to both levels. Also the new Thome statue. Check it out before or during the game, as they will clear you out of this section as soon as the game is over. Rally towels were given to the kids in the bleachers, the mascot was spotted throughout the stadium for photos.

My hotel had a shuttle to the park, so I can't speak for parking. The ballpark is close to downtown, so bars and restaurants in the area were lively after the game.

“Nice new ballpark”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

We were in Cleveland as a stop on a trip. We decided to go to the park as we like to check out baseball parks. Progressive Field is new, easy to get around and ticket prices are reasonable.

We weren't sure where the best place to park was so used the parking garage on E 9th St for $20. We didn't pay much more for the tickets, but it was worth it.

“Beautiful ballpark - INCREDIBLE FIREWORKS”
Reviewed 21 August 2014 via mobile

I know, I know. This should be a post about baseball. About the diamond. About the ball game itself. Truth is we had a great time. Dollar hot dog night was a success. Thankfully Budweiser was not the only "domestic"'option as for $4 you could also get Rolling Rock (hey, it's something!)

The staff was friendly and enthusiastic and we loved walking around the park itself. Beautiful views of the city and there is something romantic about a park that faces the city's skyline. Sitting in the upper deck helped us appreciate this beauty!

We never expected the following,
But their Rock N Blast display of fireworks was single handedly the greatest display of lights, sound, energy and fireworks we have ever seen. Even Disneyland felt short. That was just such a highlight of our trip and made it an incredible icing on the cake that already was visiting an American ballpark so full of history and photographic gems!

“It's OK!”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

I have been to several ball fields and this one is Ok, but All American is much nicer. There is limited parking for this Park and we paid a premium to park in a parking garage. Next time I will park downtown and take the free shuttle over. Once inside the park they do not have any signs telling you which way to go, so of course we went to the wrong side of field. We were on the 5 deck and the view was good. Great fireworks how and I would recommend going on fireworks night.
