Description: Located downtown in the historic Warehouse District, The Brasa Grill Steakhouse is Cleveland’s first Churrascaria (choo-rah-scah-REE-ah), the name used to describe a restaurant that serves meat, mostly grilled rodizio style, a method of serving the different cuts of meat that originated in the south of Brazil in the early 1800's. Brasa Grill serves a wide variety of beef, pork, lamb, chicken, etc., in succession, to each diner individually right at the table, thus there is not a traditional menu. The restaurant features fixed-price continuous tableside service. In addition diners can choose from 40 different salads including sushi, seafood & pastas at their leisure from salad bar. The Brasa Grill Steakhouse offers excellent cuisine, professional service, charming high energy ambience & a festive atmosphere in a large colorful space. Brasa is a haven for meat lovers. From an intimate dinner for 2 to a lavish reception for 300, the Brasa Grill will make your celebration unforgettabl

“Spectacular Dining Experience”

Endless roasted meat feast that you won't believe. You are given a disk that is red on one side, and green on the other. As long as you show the green side "go" the waiters come to your table with over ten or more varieties of meat. Before you start getting your meat, you MUST experience the magnificent salad bar that is awesome. There is nothing that I can say that I "dislike" about Brasa.

“An interesting experience ... once”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2014

I had been to a Brasa in Orlando on a business trip and had a tremendous time. I told my wife I was looking forward to a future special event so I could take her to the Cleveland location. That event was last night. We went with another couple and we all agreed it was an enjoyable experience but one we wouldn't need to repeat.

On the positive side, the salad bar had a number of interesting things on it. I was surprised to see belly-fillers like lasagna on a salad bar, and of course skipped it in anticipation of the meat-fest to come. While it's a good salad bar, it certainly wasn't the best I've seen. Everything was enjoyable but nothing outstanding. The three kinds of cheese, for example, included a hot pepper cheese that's akin to what you'd serve at a football party. The swiss was just swiss. The third was also forgettable.

My wife went for some sort of half-shell seafood salad. She didn't finish it. It was just adequate.

But that's okay because you come to Brasa for the meat. Most of the beef items were very good. Our table host (you can't really call him a server because other people do most of the serving) gave a solid recommendation on the top sirloin. We agreed it was the standout. Parmesan-crusted tenderloin was a close second. The sausages and chicken were also great.

The pork and turkey were very dry, and the ham very salty. We didn't finish what we took of those meats.

Back to Jimmy, he was a tremendous host. Very personable. If we were eager for one of the cuts of meat to come around to our table, he made that happen.

Bottom line is that we agreed that, for the price, it was something interesting to do once. And if you're an all-you-can-eat fan of meat, then you've found your home. If you're trying to take a business guest out from something interesting, this is it. One of the categories below is "Romance." I wouldn't say so because the atmosphere is a bit too frantic with spears of meat being waltzed around your table. For us, been there. Did that.

“Overpriced but fun concept”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2014

Salad bar was fantastic, just pace yourself because there's a lot more food to come. Side dishes and condiments were interesting. Didn't much care for the beef we were offered, after a while it all tasted the same, but the pork and sausage were just out of this world. Did have dessert of flan which was quite good. I do believe it is overpriced and would visit maybe just once a year because it is a great concept. Special shout-out to our server Ben and also Miguel for the impeccable service and great personalities which made the dining experience that much better.

“Excellent food and service!”

We visit Brasa on every trip to cleveland. The salad bar is excellent and main course meats are fantastic. We've never been able to sample desserts as we are too full after the meats. Highly recommended.
