Fun for most ages. My 3 year old daughter had a great time playing in the kids area and even had some fun in the older kids science areas.

COSI, was a fun science center to go to with kids. There was plenty to do for hours. My kids really enjoyed it!

This is not the Cosi I remember. Yes it is triple the size since I was a young one but overall it lacked that hands on discovery play. There are a lot of neat learning exhibits for ages 9-14 but anyone younger forget it. I imagine it might be better if we lived closer and could take advantage of the extras but for a day visit do your homework and go elsewhere.

The interactive exhibits are interesting for adults AND children, and there really is something for everyone. We spent the entire day at COSI and only got to visit half of what we wanted to see - there was so much to look at! Activities/exhibits included in the entrance fee that we especially liked were: a high-wire unicycle ride across the entrance atrium under the watchful eye of Albert Einstein, an enormous chicken-wire-mesh skeleton, rat basketball (yes, real rats playing hoops, live), frame-by-frame film making (you make the film yourself), an entire wing dedicated to unusual exhibits about the human body, real-life real-time language research by students at Ohio State University, and a gallery of butterflies made of recycled items. We paid extra to see a 3-D National Geographic film about Pandas - it was the best 3-D screen we have ever visited. We also paid extra to participate in the Sherlock Holmes exhibition - we became investigators for the afternoon. The restaurant was not great, very expensive, noisy, and not good quality food, but to be fair we visited the restaurant at the end of what had been a super-busy (rainy) Saturday during the summer holidays, maybe it would be nicer on a quieter day. The cheese-stuffed pretzels from the concession stand were divine, and the robot-served fresh-frozen yoghurt was yummy. COSI was full of imaginative items, and we hope to return the next time we are in Columbus.

Went to the COSI After Dark (for 21+) with a friend and it was some of the most fun I've ever had. As an adult you don't usually get try everything, this night allows you to do almost everything they offer (plus alcohol). They only thing is that it always feels like they have more space that's not being used for how much it costs to get in. Plus if you want to do the special exhibit it costs an extra $8.
