Had a great experience here. Very clean and loved the Lord of the Dance show we saw. I will always remember that.

“Nice older theater”
Reviewed 28 April 2013

Have attended quite a few traveling Broadway plays at this theater. Lovely theater and not too large. Decent views from all points in the balcony. Lots of parking available in nearby parking garages. Restrooms become very crowded at intermission, so try to come with an empty bladder, or beat the rush as soon as intermission begins, but good luck with this one if you are seated in the middle of a row.

“Palace Theater - grande old theater”
Reviewed 24 April 2013

Columbus has several restored theaters. The Palace is in the first levels of the Lincoln Levec tower that is the skyscraper that looks like the Empire State Building! If you have a chance to attend a performance at the palace, the show will be an afterthought, because the decor of this lovely theater will steal the show!

“a beautiful theater from another era”
Reviewed 7 April 2013

everything about this place is amazing, the architecture, the seating, the sound, it reminds me of my youth when there were no multi screen cinemas, the film festivals are wonderful and the live performances are always grand

“Nice To See An Older Theater”
Reviewed 18 March 2013

As an out-of-town visitor who attended a concert at the Palace Theater recently for the first time it was a pleasant experience and wonderful to see that an old theater such as this one has been preserved and maintained. This is a unique attribute for Columbus and I hope the theater will be around for many years to come. The event I attended commanded a full theater and a very appreciative audience, which was great to see. The structure itself is architecturally interesting and the seating was fine. I sat in the fourth row from the stage near center and could see everything really well; the acoustics were fine for the show that I saw. I liked the fact that the ushers guided each of the patrons to their seats, something you don't see much these days. Usually it's an usher pointing in the general direction of where they need to go. I had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely return if a show featuring my interests is on their roster in the future.
