Clean, ambience is wonderful. Lots of art work. Food was great and the staff was wonderful. Meeting room was nice. The whole experience with this hotel was great. Location downtown offers many things to do. Definitely would come back to this hotel for a meeting and our group had nothing but wonderful things to say about it.

Ashley was particularly great (I wish I knew her last name but hopefully this note of gratitude finds its way to her). We were arriving early and we called to find out if we could do early checkin. She was thoughtful enough to give us the heads up that some of the normal streets were closed due to the parade so she volunteered to give us directions that saved us a ton of time... so instead of arriving frustrated from the road closures... we arrived in a great mood thanks to her forward thinking. Thanks Ashley!

The stay was wonderful, but the reason for this review is the post-stay followup. I discovered I had left a jacket and shoes behind, and Ty at the security department took care of my mistake: found the items (and the slacks I didn't mention) and shipped them out to me. Great customer focus. Thanks!

This is a new, modern convention hotel just north of downtown. Our room was small, with little space to maneuver. We were paying the convention rate and arrived late at night, so got the parking garage view. The bathroom has a shower only, no tub and little counter space for the one sink. There are only two hooks for bath towels. No towel bars for hand towels. The bathroom door is sliding glass, so no hooks there. Not practical. They did not clean our room the first day until after 4:00. There was that sinking feeling when we returned from a long day and the service cart is parked next to your door and then you realize they have not serviced your room yet. :( Of course the next morning when we were departing they were banging on the door at 8:45 despite the "do not disturb sign"! Sigh. When we checked out I asked why we had not gotten a bill under the door and was told "we're a green hotel" and we don't' do that. But, they still have to print it when you leave, right? And this "green" concept means you can't just leave your keys in the room - everyone has to go to the front desk to check out. Very bad idea. If you do stay here, you will probably want to pay extra to valet park. We did not before we realized the parking garage is a public lot and not connect to the hotel. If you are a female traveling alone, I would not suggest parking there yourself after dark. You must take an elevator, then a back alley into the deserted basement conference area, then another elevator up to the lobby. There is no avoiding this if you self park. The workout room is adequate, but in the basement, so no view. The pool is too small for lap swimming. Would we stay here again? No. There are many other options in downtown Columbus.

Thank you for your feedback. We were honored to be your host during your visit to the Columbus area for your conference. Housekeeping services are provided throughout the day and we are always happy to accommodate any scheduling requests though there is certainly no reason to ignore a do-not-disturb sign and apologize for any disruption. Actually, there is no need to go to the front desk at all upon checkout. Housekeeping will report the room vacant and a folio will automatically be emailed to you when the desk checks it out remotely; no print out is needed at all unless requested. Not only does this save time and paper, it is much more convenient as your invoice will be in your inbox when completing your expense as most people seem to misplace it by that time requiring a call to the hotel for a second copy. We do agree that valet parking is a much more convenient option and at only $4 more which also provides parking up to 5pm on the day of departure, it is actually a better value. We appreciate your feedback and hope you will reconsider on your next visit.

My room was clean, quiet, and easy to get to. All the staff were very helpful. The food excellent. The parking was also very easy. I would recomend this to family and friends who are planning a trip to Columbus in the near future

We were here for just one night, have spent many nights in downtown Columbus but our first stay at this property. From the outside it's not as impressive as it is inside. All public areas are modern but not sterile. The sleeping room was very comfortable, with great artwork, quiet setting, top-notch bathroom with a great shower. We were there for an event for several hundred people and that, too, was handled very well.

The only drawback for me is it has the central atrium layout which I really don't like, because if your room is in the atrium you are in an echo chamber. It wasn't too bad for our stay, but if we return we will be sure to book a room that is NOT in the atrium. I was surprised to find that layout in such a new property.

Room Tip: If you are like me and quiet rooms are essential, request a room NOT in the atrium.

Stayed here for a trade show in May. Rooms are very nice and the hotel has a very open air feeling. Location is perfect for a trades show, as it is next to the convention center.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and the hotel level of service is excellent.
Highly recommended.
