“Wonderful Atmosphere, Great Supporters Culture”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 November 2013 via mobile

I was lucky enough to get my hands on some tickets for the USA vs Mexico World Cup Qualifier here and witnessed history unfold before my eyes.

The stadium is small, not particularly pretty, but fun, and everybody there were proper footballing people. Get here early and partake in the pregame festivities including a march from 4th street bar. The concessions are solid, the sightlines are great, and it doesn't matter that there are bleachers because you won't be sitting the entire match.

Proper footie experience.

“Crew vs Revolution - great soccer experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 October 2013

We visited Columbus Crew Stadium to watch Columbus Crew take on NE Revolution. Our entry into the stadium was a little slow, there were a ton of cars trying to get into the lot. It is CROWDED - this city loves their Crew! People were cheering, yelling, wearing gear, and the Crew fan club area in the stadium is good fun to watch. The game was fantastic, facilities were good and comfortable. There are shops to buy gear. Getting out of the stadium... well, that's another story. We sat in the car for about an hour, trying to get out of the lot.

“Columbus Crew”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

Great facility built just for soccer, I don't think there are any bad seats. I had heard parking was $10 and friends said to park as close to the edge of the parking lot for ease of exiting, but like another poster we parked nearby and walked in. Saved enough for a beer LOL. The crowds were mostly kids at the match I attended, a bit of a distraction running up and down the stairs as kids are apt to do, but overall it was a great experience.

“Great soccer stadium, weird parking”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

It's made for watching soccer (first soccer-specific stadium in the US), and it shows. The touchline is right up against the first row of seats, and even the upper tier doesn't appear too far from the action. Crew supporter's groups are on the northeast corner and chant with energy throughout the match. Another corner hosts a bar and a viewing platform open to all ticket holders. Seating is bleacher-style, and not the most comfortable. But you're there to watch soccer, so enjoy the game!
The only gripe is parking. It costs 10 bucks to park in some random grassy/gravel area. To get to the stadium from our parking area, we had to cross a grassy field with a drainage ditch running through the middle. It felt a bit like we were engaged in some sort of First World War trench warfare re-enactment, with the field as no-man's-land.... Anyway, "VIP" parking is paved, if you'd prefer not to waste a few minutes feeling like an unfortunate soldier going over the top at at the Somme.

“Great facility”

Great facility. Security line way too long and inefficient, which is only complaint. One of the best places to see live soccer in the country
