My husband and I were in town for a trade show at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. This hotel was only a few minutes away and saved us a lot of money. We stayed for 2 nights in the standard king room and have no complaints. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. The continental breakfast was good (eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, tea, donuts, etc). We did not use the pool or hot tub but they looked clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.

We had nothing but a fantastic experience at this hotel. I know a lot of people leave there upset because they were sent there by their airline when flights get cancelled, but that is no fault of the hotel. I can't imagine how you could have a bad stay here personally.

The location is close to the airport right off of the freeway at Cassady Ave. It it easy to find and has ready access to stores, transportation, and places to eat. I found it nice that it was actually set back from the road a little so it wasn't as overrun with traffic as some hotels near freeways tend to be.

The facilities were very nice for a smaller and reasonably priced hotel. The building was immaculately clean and we constantly saw cleaning staff brushing up while we were there. The indoor pool is right off the lobby and was very well-kept in a large, bright high-ceilinged room. Next to it was a nice-sized and also very clean hot tub. Across the hall was a small fitness room and nearby are two public computers you can use to access the internet if you do have a laptop with you (they also have wi-fi). Our room was spotlessly clean and fresh and the decor was modern. The countertops were granite and the shower was large with a massaging showerhead. We had a king room with a whirlpool tub and the tub was very large and beutifully kept. Each room has a digital thermostat, microwave, and mini-fridge which was a nice touch! The only downfall was that the tub took a very very long time to fill and the bathroom of the suite was really very small. Otherwise, fabulous!

Each morning they have a hot breakfast with a waffle bar, sausage, pre-made eggs, fruit, cereal, and the like. In the evenings they have gatherings for extended-stay guests to mingle and eat free food provided by the hotel. A small 'shop' in the lobby offers small foods, drinks, and items for your room.

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accomodate us when travelocity messed up our reservation. They really made the stay great!

Continental Airlines uses this as a dumping ground for its crew and stranded passengers. I fell into the second category. It's clean, but there are significant problems: The address on "Airpointe Road" is nonexistent--I spent a lot of money getting here from an in-town cab. Try "N. Cassady Road" for directions. Also, as of July 1, 2008, Best Western Customer Service HQ had no information about the existence of this hotel--hence the difficulty of finding this hotel! Finally, the promised "free wifi" is spotty in its service to all parts of the hotel: my room, at the opposite side of the property's wireless router, had little to no wifi. Continental comped me the hotel, worth $81 according to the voucher. In other parts of Columbus, this hotel should be worth $40-$60 max.

Shuttles depart for the airport (3 mi. away) every 30 min., and MUST be booked at the front desk. If they fill up (which seems to occur easily), you are out of luck.

Let me be fair and mention the positives. The rooms are clean and tasteful and the breakfast was good. Now, the reasons that I won't be back will take a little longer. I spend 30-40 days a year in a hotel room and I have never had a problem with a reservation made over the internet. Upon arrival I was told that I had no reservation and hotels.com had booked a room without availability. I immediately contacted hotels.com and they called the hotel and proved my reservation. The type of room I requested was unavailable and we had to make due with fewer beds. This was for both rooms I reserved. The front desk was not particularly knowledgeable or helpful. We stopped by the pool, but the hot tub was not working so we left for dinner. On the way out we passed another couple who were arguing with the front desk and had a reservation agent online to work out another "lost reservation." Although things worked out adequately, with all of the choices that Columbus has to offer in this proce range, why take the chance?!

Was referred to the Best Western by the Courtyard which refused to honor my reservation. What a lucky break! After my nightmare experience at the front desk of the courtyard and being dumped in the street with no place to stay at 12:30 am, what a relief to walk into the Best Western and find a helpful, smiling face behind the counter and to quickly get checked in and into my room. I am just grateful things worked out and I got a better hotel with much better staff. This hotel was clean and very well-kept, with reasonably fast wifi, friendly and efficient staff, a decent breakfast, and a nice room. I've always preferred courtyards, since in the past I have found them to be consistent, but I will call the Best Western first if I ever go back to Columbus.

This hotel provides good value for the price charged. Clean room, a better than expected continental breakfast, wireless internet and close to the freeway

It was a little noisy for a short while due to the arrival of a large group and the room was a little smaller than expected.

Overall, would definitely stay there again
