Was looking for a place for lunch and stumbled on Northstar which is located downtown. Had the Northstar Burger with the wild rice. The burger was perfectly done and the rice is actually a pilaf (cold) with nuts, dried blueberries (perhaps) or currents with a light, tasty "dressing" on it. The restaurant has a nice downtown vibe with a magazine rack and area to read and plenty of seating both inside and out. You order when you walk in and they give you a number and deliver the food to your table. Lots of windows to watch the activity going on outside.
Would definitely return here, especially for the breakfast based on the menu. Beer, wine and specialty cocktails are available.

Everything I have had here has been good! The staff is super friendly and helpful! You order at a counter and they then deliver your food to you at your table. My favorites are the ricotta pancakes, buddha bowl, thai burrito, and chicken & avocado sandwich!

Kind of overrated in my opinion. Limited menu, limited seating, and expensive... Good food though for what it is... I could take it or leave it.

I picked this restaurant when staying in Columbus with another couple. When I mentioned the description, they jumped on the idea based on the word "organic." It turned out to be a fantastic choice. The restaurant had an interesting menu and an incredibly friendly staff. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. I had the sweet potato and turkey hash with eggs. It was tasty even before I used the homemade hot sauce. I had the delicious biscuit with cherry preserves on the side. My guests had mushroom frittatas and the cowboy breakfast. Everyone raved. The coffee was strong. Seating was spacious enough for a Sunday morning crowd. We happened to arrive right at the open at 9am but the place was already buzzing. The only downside was the price is relatively high for breakfast but you can see the multiple chefs/cooks in the open kitchen, and food this good costs more than a diner's fried egg plate. They are building an outdoor patio that if ready would have made this summer morning perfect. We checked out the dinner menu and it is equally interesting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I chose to eat there based on the very good reviews on this site. The entire staff was well trained in the importance of the customer experience. The décor was interesting with a section that has a full magazine rack as you would see in a book store that had a couch and chair in front of it. Other sections with regular tables.

I had the Thai Burrito with roasted chicken, peanut sauce, organic wild rice, crunchy slaw, a Thai dipping sauce and a salad. Everything was fresh and very good.

They make their own Ginger Ale that was the best I have ever had. The menu is simple and pleasantly different. Worth trying if you have the chance.
