Great for couples, friends, business! Had dinner with two business associates and we sat at the bar for dinner. Kurt was our waiter and we had a fantastic meal starting with Marty's Oysters, Cajun Meatloaf, Haddock and great wine! Highly recommended to sit at the Kitchen/Bar area.

Excellent food! You have two choices here... The front restaurant is Russo's, which is more formal or finer dining. The back is the Baccus Lounge, more of a bar with a more casual menu. They have great weekly specials.

Was there with my wife for a celebration dinner this week. Service was good and prompt. Appetizer was very good. Our server was happy to split selections for us in the kitchen. We ordered the $35 NY strip steak. Flavor was great, but quality of meat was terrible ... riddled with chunky gristle. When the server asked us how we were enjoying our meal, we reported our issue and asked that she inform the manager and the chef. Neither one approached us ... and it was a situation where the inexperienced server did not know how to handle a complaint. We should have sent it back, but instead paid our bill and left ... for the last time at Russo's.

We heard so much about Russ's we drove 45 min to try it on a Friday night. We had reservations at the bar and we're seated timely. The bartender was cordial but not overly talkative. Sitting at bar is very entertaining since you see the open kitchen in action. My guests had mussels, chicken fried steak and bolognese pasta. All of our food was delicious. They are a little heavy on the salt shaker . The bread is all homemade and the ingredients used are all fresh. My only comment is they put garnish consisting of chopped scallions on everything. Wow, I didn't want or need it on my food. The food is pricey but we would go back. It is nice to support a private establishment instead of the chains

My husband and I went to Russo's last Friday and had 8:30 reservations. My husband had been once before and raved about his meal, so we were excited for the evening. We were seated promptly by the hostess and then.....nothing. We sat at our table for 20 minutes without even a hello. No eye contact, no water, no server, NOTHING. The restaurant was busy, however that is absolutely no excuse not to greet a table. There were two different servers working on either side of us, but no one approached us. There was another server clearly drinking glasses off an empty table, so there was at least one person there who should have prioritized customers over clearly glasses. We spoke to the manager, Ben, who stated that they were "short staffed" that night and while he apologized and offered to buy our first round of drinks, we had already made the decision to leave. We will not be back---there are far better restaurants in the area that have earned my business.
