“Great place to stay”

This place had it all! It is a 2 story hotel. Suites have a complete kitchen with plates, silverware and all. The living room had a pull out couch, chair and tv, separated by 2doors that you could valise to separate if from the bedroom. Nice buffet breakfast, hor devours in the evening, nice pool and great hot tub. Friendly front desk. Near Columbus zoo. Shuttle to attractions within 5 miles with a 24hour notice. Price was very reasonable. Was not happy with the pillows but otherwise we would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Our room was directly across from the pool which was great

My family and I stayed at the Chase Suites Hotel during a recent visit to Dublin, OH so my son could attend a sports camp. The U-shaped property is well landscaped and the buildings and our room, while somewhat worn and dated were adequate for our needs. The service provided by the staff at the hotel was generally very good. The first night, there were only 8 hangers in the closet and three sets of towels for our 4 person family. I called and asked for more towels sets and hangers and they were promptly provided. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated, although some breakfast items were not available or refreshed during the breakfast period. We were not able to experience the weekday (M-Th only) afternoon reception. At night, our second floor (top floor) room was very quiet even though it appeared the hotel was pretty full. There was adequate parking around the hotel even though there may not have been parking right near the building we were staying in. There are no elevators here, so if you’re staying in a 2nd floor room, you will need to use exterior stairs. Our room was superficially clean, but there was some food debris on the dishwasher and the drawers in the chests of drawers were dirty and we needed to clean them prior to use. The complimentary Wi-Fi worked very well.
One noticeable downside to this hotel is smoking. Chase Suites is advertised as a non-smoking property. However, smoking is permitted outside the rooms. We stayed in a room where a gentleman smoked fairly regularly on a camp chair right outside his first floor room beneath us and the second hand smoke was very noticeable as we entered and exited our room. We also experienced some second hand smoke as people sat and smoked on the exterior stairs leading to our room.
Our room’s bathroom sink drain drained very slowly and we asked to have it looked at. The hotel’s maintenance staff took the entire trap apart and cleaned it, but the drain still drained very slowly. The bathrooms in our room had the toilet in the tub/shower area; that can get interesting for families staying here. The bathroom door did not close properly due to loose hinges.
We tipped the housekeeping staff each day because as a family of four there was quite a bit of cleaning to do each day. Even though we left a note with our tip each day asking for fresh linens for the pull out sofa, they were not provided 2 of the 4 nights we were there. They were promptly provided after a call to the front desk.
Out room had a slightly musty smell that was taken care of with two Air Wick plug in, heated oil air fresheners purchased at Wal-Mart. The phones in the rooms had the name of previous property name on them (Windsor Suites). Our door did not close properly unless it was firmly pulled or pushed shut and the security deadbolt did not throw all the way due to a misaligned strike plate on the door jamb.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms at the corners of the buildings will be quietest

Where do I start...reviews that I look raved about this Suite Hotel, really have you ever been to a Embassy Suite or Omni Hotel. I was totally amazed how little the manager didn't even offer a new room. The room was disgusting, dirty, and dark. The kitchen cabinets had potato peeler with potato peels left still on peeler. Someone who was recently staying in room left there room cards. Personally I heard you can collect info on old cards ??? Can see daylight around the door, a lil scary...it looked someone kicked the door in or was jammed due to a break-in. The cleanliness of the bed was terrible...pull back the bedspread...looked like the sheets were used due to odd hairy evidence left ??....Decided to go back to front desk to see if get different accommodations...the manager must of had a bad day or didn't care and offer to refund...you would think she would be embarrassed or offer different arrangements.....we decide to leave and go to a Embassy Suites....so glad never would I recommend this place again....those who have stayed there I would hope that you would check the room prior like we did.

I can not say enough how happy we were with our stay at your facility. The room was large, clean, well maintained as were the grounds, pool, hot tub and laundry room areas. Your staff were pleasant and professional. Convenient to many locations. Loved it!

Very nice hotel. We were in Columbus for a family reunion so we didn't spend much time in the room. The room is really a suite, with the bed and bath area being separated by a door from the kitchen/living area - loved that. The bed was extremely comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen area other than making coffee. The breakfast was okay. The room was very quiet - we were on the second floor on the end.

We stayed here for our recent Columbus Zoo trip. After sharing a room with the kids for multiple nights, it was nice to have a separate area for tv and the kitchen. We took advantage of the evening social hour and pool after our zoo visit. My husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine with some light Hors d'oeuvres while the kids had sprites. The pool was small (as were the pool towels), but refreshing. Breakfast in the morning was a mix of beverages, cereals, fruits and a few warm entrees. They also have a dvd library from which you may borrow.

We arrived around 6pm after a long drive from Atlantic City, tired and hungry. After check in we were in time for the free "Manager's reception" , so we decided to have a glass of wine. The food that night consisted of Hot Dogs, condiments, potato salad etc. and really hit the spot. We finished with a second complimentary glass of wine.

The rooms are really like apartments and we had a nice king bed, living room and kitchen. We stayed in for the night, watched some TV and just enjoyed the space. It was like being home. We crashed relatively early and both had a good night's sleep. The bed was very comfortable. Next morning the shower worked fine and we went to have our free breakfast buffet. This was also very good with a nice selection of both hot and cold items. Check out was a breeze, and it was so nice to have the car right outside the door with no elevators to contend with. The hotel is located in a quiet, upscale area. We will stay again next time we are in the Dublin/Columbus area.
