Upon check-in I was directed to a "recently renovated" room on the fourth floor of the Hilton Garden Inn for a one night stay. The staff was very friendly and the hotel seemed quite clean... on first inspection! I was late for an event, so I dropped my bags and ran right back out. We returned to the hotel late in the evening and after having the opportunity to explore our room a little more closely, I was disappointed to find a PUMPKIN SEED and some other refuse exposed in the gap between my mattress and the frame. In the bathroom we found long hairs stuck to the back of the shower curtain and in the drain. Without straining we could hear our immediate neighbors sawing logs throughout the night.
I couldn't get these things out of my mind as I tried to get some much-needed rest. Next time I'm in the area I think I'll try another spot, as it's no fun to sleep with the heebie-jeebies.More
