I believe that these two brothers know how to operate a good restaurant to the benefit of dinner guests. Portions are adequate and menu selections are varied and worth while exploring with nutritional curiosity, There is a tendency to americanize some selections too much..Be prepared to eat a three course meal if you wish or a small snack also. This not a fast food diner and it is not for the faint at heart when contronted with ethnic food.. but a full restaurant serving excellent food from the area of Lebanon. Chicken swarma sandwiches are my favorties. Much of the menu is tier in the direction of the homeland of the owners Salads, kabob dishes and othe items especially the beef and chicken swarma sandwiches do present a large commodity of nutritional authenticity Try the large greek salad with feta cheese and there might be a need to visit the place again soon. On a busy night with many diner guests and too few waiters the owner became our waiter out of courtesy. Most importantly there is a commodity of ethnic authenticity for those people interested in learing something about Lebanon. Ethinc celebrations that fit in neatly with nutritional traditions like birthday parties and weddings take place there often. Conversations with the owners can enlarge your understanding of this part of the worlad. Swarma sandwiches still remain my favorites. Get something wrapped up in pita bread and a salad and you will be happy for days. I recommend the many kabob dishes as the rice is prepard well and eating it is memorable.
People from the homeland or near bye can be seen working there to add flavor to yor taste of lebaonese food. The earlier expansion of the original restaurant was well worth the expense trouble. The grocery store-like front of the store is a welcome sight as you enter or leave the place. Lental soup is also well worth your time. KIbby balls and spinach should be included in the first meal along with a variety of salads with many trimmings. Most prices are reasonable for this part of town and the drinks deserve your attention too - especially the so called Arnold Palmer drink. Large scale dinners with many dishes are available to make you forget the last carry out snack from fast food ;places. Family dining for parties of four or six people is there in abundance. Service is good as is the atmosphere for dining..Eating lunch there can not be overlooked in this review for the lunch crowd keeps the customers coming back and adds to the reputation for the restaurant. I reommend eating lunch there and then returning for dinner the same week..
