My boyfriend and I stayed in the Polly Harper Suite. The owner was really nice and super helpful. Staying on a Sunday night, We had the entire inn to ourselves which was nice and gave us a lot of privacy. The price we paid was definitely reasonable for how big the room was and how much space we had including the breakfast nook and steps to the tower. Very cozy with the fireplace and jacuzzi. My only complaint was that the room was very stuffy and we couldn't get the air to turn on. That was solved with opening the windows. Very bright in the morning, not good for a wine hangover, bring a sleep mask -- haha! Overall very enjoyable and plan on going back. Also good location, near a couple winery's and not too far from Madison where there's lots of stuff to do.

We spent two nights here and had an excellent experience. We had the privilege of staying in the Polly Harper Room the first night, and the Annie Harper Room the second. The rooms and the location were quiet, the attention to detail throughout was terrific, and the owners were courteous and helpful. I would recommend this inn to anyone.

The food was good and hearty. You will be ready for a full day!

We celebrated my birthday at a nearby winery with family and friends and my husband chose the Polly Harper suite for us to stay overnight. It is exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. We picked up the key from the owner's home nearby without difficulty. The Polly Harper room is one that everyone should choose for a special occasion with its cozy fireplace, comfortable bed, Jacuzzi tub/shower, separate breakfast room and the third floor tower room. From the tower we had a lovely view of the snow covered vineyards and trees. We had the option of eating breakfast in the first floor dining area, but chose to take the tray to our room, a nice option that most B&B's don't offer. We had a fresh warm breakfast of quiche, scones, coffee cake, fresh fruit and orange juice and coffee. It was a wonderful get away!

Stayed here on a weekend. The rooms are very confortable and the views of the vineyards are nice. Checkin service was warm and comfortable. Did not use any of the outdoor seating areas. But we did have breakfast, which was very good. All items tasted fantastic. The gluten free available items were also fantastic.

Me and my wife will plan to stay here again. We have already put in our reservation!

Room Tip: For those that have allergies like me, the rooms are all hardwood and laminate. no feather pillo...

The previous reviews that there was little interaction with the owners is WHY I choose the Polly Harper Inn, I'm not a big B&B fan. That's not entirely true, I did meet and interact with Mrs. B at her house, which is about 3/8 of a mile down the road. There are only 3 rooms, one on the first floor, and two on the 2nd floor. I choose the Annie Harper room, because it was the only one on the first floor, and I figured privacy would be maximized. As an added bonus, it's the cheapest of the 3 rooms! The other two more expensive rooms upstairs do look much larger, and with higher ceilings. I believe Annie's room has a 7 1/2 ft. or 8 foot ceiling. Another room is directly above it, and I could hear those people walking about from time to time, but they weren't there very much. Annie's room was nicely furnished, and very clean. Breakfast was delievered at 7:30, as another reviewer said, and consisted of two quiche, two fruit cups, a basket of homemade bake goods for each room, cereal, and bagels. Everything was excellent on the food side as well. The grounds were very nice too, and the trees lit up at night. Great place, don't pass it up if you get the chance to go there.

My daughter and I had a wonderful visit in July. The architecture is gorgeous and the decor is exquisite. We were thoroughly enchanted by the peaceful environment. The owner was friendly and helpful, recommending local restaurants for our dinner. Everything was extremely clean, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We had a sweet potato, apple, and ham breakfast pie, along with delicious breads and fresh fruit. We both enjoyed the jacuzzi, too. It is a great B&B for people who value privacy, as there are only three rooms, and the owners live a short distance away. Although it looks like an historic site, the inn is actually rather new. It looks as if the owners are finishing another building, which seems to have a few townhouses with balconies. We would love to visit again to check it out. We enjoyed checking out a few covered bridges in the area, and Geneva-on-the-Lake was really fun to visit.

Room Tip: We were in Annie's Room, which is quite a bargain. If the tower room had been available, I would...

Wife and I recently spent an evening in the spacious Polly Harper suite at the Polly Harper Inn near Geneva, OH. This was as enjoyable getaway as we have enjoyed in years, and the Inn was one of the difference makers.

The Inn is within walking distance of South River Vineyard, M Cellars and Red Eagle Distillery, making it a perfect location in the Geneva Winery area. This allowed us several options to end our day and safely and responsibly get "home".

The host and hostess were present during the afternoon puttering about, but not intrusive in anyway. They offered suggestions for dinner and other places to visit including a nearby nature walk to views overlooking the Grand River. Also for those that don't know there are dozens of original covered bridges in the area. Anytime of the year would be beautiful to visit.

The Inn is only 15 years old, but you'd swear it was from 1870 (in a good way). All the modern convienences if you want them (TV/DVD, Stereo, Wi-Fi, AC, Gas Fireplace, Jucuzzi Tub, etc...) Our room was enourmous and beautifully decorated in a Victorian motif, and we had a seperate breakfast room and access to the tower you see in the pictures. This affords a beautiful bview of the sunset, sunrise, vineyards and fields as well as Lkae Erie in the distance.

The King size bed was comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. The wife is a "little" picky on these matterss, but since mama was happy, everyone was happy:)

As if things weren'y nice enough, the Inn was full with two other couples but we never saw or heard anyone. It was as if we had the place to ourselves. The common rooms were beautiful and the overall appearance was as if a small New England Inn was transported to Northeast Ohio.

Oh yeah, its a bed AND breakfast, so how was the food? Simply wonderful. Our in room coffee maker with a timer made certain coffe was ready in the breakfast room when we got up. We then headed down to pick up our tray and were rewarded with pineapple/ham quiche, fresh fruit cups, scones and blueberry coffee cake. Each and every item was fresh made and deliscous. TIn fact there was so much that we brough food home with us!

Final thought is that not only would we return, but we began making a list of all the family and friends we would start sending gift certifiactes to for anniversary gifts. It really was that nice.

Room Tip: For a few dollars more the Polly Harper really is worth it. Only negative is it is up a flight of s...
