Aerodene Cottage offers excellent amenities. Impeccably decorated, each room is readied with the guest in mind. What struck me was the eye for detail. Small touches like biscuits with the tea/coffee maker, three cups( for my two kids and me), a sponge in the bathroom, softest sheets and light, warm duvets made our stay all the more delightful. Heart warming were the smiles, the warm hospitality and the easy accommodation of all fancies a guest may have. Truly, the B&B revolves around the comfort of its guests.
Fresh bread, delicious juices and a variety of hot and cold dishes are part of a complimentary breakfast. Lunch and dinner have to be ordered beforehand. Though the meals are not overly elaborate, they are nutritious, extremely tasty and very fulfilling. Both Indian and Continental food are available.
Very centrally located, local transport is a step away and most sightseeing spots are witihn walking distance. The management can also arrange for exclusive transport if so required.
To us it was a home away from home. We will return to Aerodene many more times.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- As tourism picks up in Meghalaya, there is a huge demand for homestays in heritage buildings like Aerodene Cottage. Despite the challenge in maintaining such a building, this boutique guest house provides all the comforts of home, combined with modern amenities and top service, giving guests a taste of the old English cottage. ... more less
