Came here after doing research on trip advisor. And so glad we did. If you come to hersonissos (coast not old town) you have to eat here... However taking a walk along the coast there seem to be dozens of lovely looking good resteraunts.
The resteraunt is situated overlooking the sea... set a little way up the rock face. The views are stunning from the top but if you book you can ask to be seated a little lower down the rock face. This is a few steps down and you are situated on the ledge next to the sea which laps at your feet not a few meters below you. The lighting is romantic so anyone wanting that little bit extra... book in advance.
The resteraunt itself is modern, funky tastefully done. Anyone looking for a traditional taverna... its not for you.
The waiters are attentive, polite and friendly. The kitchen is open and every so often you will see the flames shoot high.
The food is traditional crete mixed with modern ranging from dacos to octopus to truffle oil cooked chips to just simple steak and chips so something for most people. We have eaten at alot of places and this seems to be average prices... between 8 euro to 12 euro for main course with the exception of lobster and king prawn touching the 30 euro mark... but you have to pay this for fresh.all in all a beautiful little spot for both food and location. .. would definitely recommend.
