Golden Beach. Golden memories. I am delighted to be back at the Souranis family-run and owned hotel yet for another summer holiday. Simple unsophisticated elegance, great tastes, affordable prices - we have been visiting GB for over 20 years. Each time we return, they seem to excel themselves.. And the beach seems to improve, too! A must for all who appreciate the essentials in life.

Nice, family run hotel. The location is perfect, ten minutes from Chora, and with a beautiful sandy beach, with crystal clear waters, just across the street. The beach is organized with free, good quality wooden (which is really useful when it is windy) sun beds and umbrellas and a beach bar, where we usually had a light lunch. The food was good and the prices reasonable.
We stayed on the main building since we don’t like bungalows. We had a two room apartment, at the first floor, with two verandas, which was spacious, and nicely decorated, but the bathroom was small and the amenities of average quality. But it was very well cleaned every day, which I find extremely important.
The breakfast, with a small but adequate buffet was OK, but I have to mention that the coffee was good, which was a welcome surprise since coffee is often awful even in expensive hotels.
The stuff was nice and friendly. The hotel is pet friendly and has a private parking. It also offers free wifi.
Tinos doesn’t have large hotel resorts, but Golden Beach is a good and convenient choice, and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to return.

We were hoping to do our wedding at GB but it couldn't hold our very large family.
Pretty much all our Canadian friends stayed here though, and everyone spoke very highly of of the location, rooms and especially friendly service.
Hats off to Niko and his family for helping us during our special celebration. You guys rock!

We visited tinos on june 12-19 2014 and it was a great experience. it's a beautiful island. it's a pity that it is only/mostly known just for the big church.

The hotel is very nice, very clean, with cycladic decoration. Nikos and Elias are always willing to help and the ladies who clean the rooms are very polite and friendly.

We stayed at a very nice bungalow, with a cute veranda. The bed was very big and the matress very confortable.

The food at the hotel's restaurant is very good. We had lunch there 3 times.

The beach is across the street and it is well organized, with loungers, parasols and a beach bar which also serves food from the hotel's restaurant.

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel (we have a dog) and Golden Beach Hotel was the perfect choice for all 3 of us. :)

Our family stayed for 5 days at the hotel and we were pleased. The location is fantastic, across the street from the beach! The beach was wonderful though it was still a bit chilly for my taste. The rooms were clean, small but functional. The bathroom was very small and it was hard to bathe the kids in the tiny shower stall. The breakfast is very average and not really worth the extra money IMO. I was surprised that bottled water is not offered by the hotel since the tap water is horrible. We brushed our teeth with it and our mouths felt dry and thick afterwards. I feel a bottle a day per room should be included. The staff are nice and they do pick you up from the port with their shuttle bus. They do not drop you off however which would have been even nicer; it feels like ''we'll go out of our way to get you here but we don't care about you when you leave''. The restaurant is good, some dishes better than others so pick and choose.

Arrived by ferry from Athens and the hotel little bus was there to pick us up. Please advise by internet or phone your arrival time to get the bus service.

We had made a reservation through internet a month earlier and we expected to get the room we had booked. This was mid-May and the hotel / studios was just opening ( we were three couples) . The owner gave us upon arrival the front studio with two bedrooms and three terrace one of which facing the sea. We told him we did not had lunch and he prepared for us a terrific greek salad with white wine and a Tinos beer. We could not be more happier.

This was a terrific 4 night stay and every morning we had breakfast on the restaurant terrace (8€). The rooms were clean, colorful and had the morning sun. The living room with the front terrace facing the sea had the sunset. I dont know if it was because we were not many in the hotel but we were very well serviced on everything we asked for. We rented a car for a day and the car was delivered to our hotel. We visited Pyrgos and Pandormos on the other side of the island. Well worth it.

Even though the hotel beach (right in front) was not open for service (snacks and drinks), there were chairs and we relaxed on the patio to the sound of the waves and enjoyed the local kids having fun in the sea.

The walk to the village is definitely a 35 minute walk enjoyable from the hotel but coming back in the dark to the hotel we recommend taking a cab. It is worth it and is not expensive if you ask the price in advance to the driver.

All in all a very good relaxing stay.

Room Tip: All rooms of the main building have balconies either facing the morning sun or the sunset.

We spent a long time looking for a hotel for our 11 nights in Tinos and were pleased with our choice. The hotel is a Family run Business who definately were friendly, helpful and keen to please their guests. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble, welcoming us with drinks & snacks & all the information and help we needed to enoy our stay. The beach is 1 minutes walk with waiter service to bring you refreshments, plenty of free sun beds and parasols. The food at the hotel is good and plentiful and always available. The short taxi ride into town costs between 3 and 5 euros where there is an abundance of shops and tavernas.Tinos is easyily accessible from Mykonos by ferry as are the neighbouring islands if you fancy a trip out. All in all a chilled, relaxing stay at a wonderful hotel. Highly recommended.
