Snow mobile, dog sledge, ice caving, glacier hike etc are some of the noticeable adventures that can be carried out in this edge of the world Svalbard.

All the adventures are quite interesting and must do, since these adventures cannot be experienced in the other parts of the world.

We arrived by cruise ship and Doreen met us at the dock, we spent the day with her. We had a great day visting Longyearbyen. Doreen drove us around to ensure we saw everything there was to see. We visited the sled dogs and found them very friendly we even held the puppies. The Artic Turns were memorable. We saw lots of Reindeer. A very different landscape and geology which was interesting.

I went on the five day hiking trip and was very impressed with every aspect of the trip, the organisation, the great guides, the camp facilities, the food and the equipment. Thanks for showing us the wonderful and mesmerising Svarlbard, some really memorable moments and an opportunity to meet some really great people.

One improvement on this trip would be to leave town a bit earlier rather than leave us in town for a few hours before the start, allowing more time for the trekkingm but only a minor gripe as it allowed time to visit the museum pre trip.

Will be recommending you to anyone who wants to explore Svarlbard.

We spent over two weeks in Norway and of the many attractions, our dog sledding in Longyearbyen ranks at the top of the list. If you are going north of the Arctic Circle you can see the landscape from a bus or boat or you can experience it in a dog sled. The enthusiasm of the dogs was matched by that of our young, knowledgeable guides. We learned all about the lives of the dogs, the history and culture of the area, and the rugged people that live there. After our ride we warmed up in a cozy cabin drinking heated fruit juice around a fire. It was magical. We would do this again in a heartbeat.
