“An Excellent Sunday Lunch that is a cut about the average”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2013

Sunday Lunch is usually a standard boring fare but the Mill House presents it in an a la carte way.
They do run out of things later in the day. The muscles I had were the second best I have ever had, the best being in Browns in Windsor.

“Very disappointed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2013 via mobile

Went for our Sundays lunch and left very disappointed with the food! When the food was served to our table it did look nice but soon as we started eating it we discovered the beef was very dry,the veg was very soggy and roast potatoes and mash was tasteless. The pub is really nice with a nice atmosphere but the food is real let down.

“Tuesday steak night”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2013

Haven't been here for a while but remembered the steak night. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak. 2 soups, 2 mains and 2 glasses of wine £20 per couple. Food was lovely. Salmon was amazing and plenty of it. Soup home made was delicious. Don't understand why somewhere like this would make such a tragic mistake with the wine. So bad I couldn't drink it and I'll drink anything free. Such a shame as had to buy more drinks. Would go more often but felt like I was being ripped off with the obvious very, very cheap and nasty wine. Everyone around us commented how awful. Makes the meal not worth £20 as steak was thin and not the best quality but you might expect that for a deal. Owners need to address this as good place and shouldn't knock there quality to make a cheap buck, surely these nights should showcase what they can do on a weekend when we would spend a lot more. May leave it a while to return.

“Mill House”

excellent gastro pub with plenty of character. both bar food including tapas and the restaurant menu are consistently very good with a good range on offer. Wine list is good and reasonably priced. Can get very busy at peak times
