We stayed in this hotel just for a short break the staff was fantastic pleasant and friendly the food was out of this world . But the drinks take your bank manager with you 9.50 for one Pint of larger and a small wine and £5.50 for a pint of orange don't get me wrong hot expect to pay more for your drinks at these places but this is well over the top . The lats on the bed was broken which caused the mattress to sink in the middle but apart from that had a good stay recommend it

We had a Groupon deal for a night at this hotel. £99 for check in at 2pm beautiful room, use of the spa, pool and steam room, three course meal, bottle of wine and full English breakfast with 1pm checkout.
I had read on here people saying they felt they were treat differently when on a deal but I must say we saw no evidence of this. We were treat wonderful from start to finish.
The reception staff gave us a wonderful welcome. Our room was on the second floor in the newer part of the hotel. Beautifully clean and a good size with a seating area, flat screen t.v. and lovely clean, bathroom.
From our room we could just walk straight along to the Spa. We were given towels and shown to the changing room. The pool was lovely and warm and a good size. There is a sauna and a steam room and a great Jacuzzi. There is also a well equipped gym.
We booked a room for dinner in the restaurant at 8pm. We were shown to our table and treated well by the staff. I thought we would be restricted to what we could have being on a deal, but no, we could have anything off the menu. There were a few exceptions where a supplement had to be paid. The food was beautiful and we also got a free bottle of wine.
The next morning we had the best breakfast we had ever had in any hotel. There was everything you could ever ask for. It was all buffet which is great.
I would highly recommend this hotel, specially if you can get a deal. It was a wonderful break.

Room Tip: Some people paid to upgrade but we stayed in the standard room and it was of a very high standard.

First class customer service from all staff from reception, breafast, dinner, and leisure centre, Lovely warm nicely decorated and clean room.
Not far off A1 nestled nicely in own grounds. Handy for Durham and Darlington.
Dinner was superb with a chef every bit as good as Gordon Ramsey.
Scrambled eggs at breakfast were divine. Excellent value for money. Our first visit, we will definitely be back.

The hotel is in a beautiful location not far from the A1M.and for the price we paid from Living Social it was excellent value for money. The majority of the staff were pleasant and helpful, especially the housekeeping ladies who helped us find our way through the maze of corridors. We had a spa room, which had all the usual luxuries such as power shower, jacuzzi bath and flat screen TV but there were no instructions for how to operate anything, so it took us a while to work out the heating, lighting, TV, shower controls etc. Our evening meal and breakfast were included so we can't complain but I did feel that the breakfast buffet was not up to the standard of a four star hotel. Also, it was cold in the restaurant which doesn't encourage you to enjoy a leisurely meal. The leisure facilities were 'fine' although the temperature in the pool area could have been a bit higher. Overall we did enjoy our stay at the Redworth but that's mainly because of the deal we had.

Room Tip: The Spa rooms are nice but you need a sat nav to find your way back to the restaurant and reception...

Beautiful building for picture, room was very large and quiet, facilities good. However there were numerous irritants such as light bulbs not working, maintenance of jacuzzi that let it down. Having said that value for money £76 B&B was great

I would recommend this hotel 1000%
Clean, comfortable, friendly, excellent food, great service, superb location with beautiful grounds - can't think of ANYTHING that was not absolutely up to great standard in this hotel.
Also have a great spa with Fitness centre, pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam Room. Treatments available.

Not up to spec.
Best part was the restaurant. Food was good and staff were friendly and courteous.
No information on the hotel at all either from reception or in the rooms.
Rooms weren't as clean as they could be and maintenance was sadly lacking.
Overall a poorly run and organised hotel where I certainly felt I didn't matter
