Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food is second to none. I recommend the Chicken and Leek suet pudding- it was out of this world. My compliments to the chef!

We’ve been to this place a few times over the years but mostly in the summer months, so had eaten outside because more comfortable with our dogs and have enjoyed the view of the boats. This latest trip was with the family including two younger children and a dog. The table was ready early for us, even though they were very busy.
Food was excellent, although advised there might be a delay there wasn’t and each meal was different but delivered in good time.
Daughter had a gluten free burger and was amazed at the taste of the bun(even asked where she could get some!). The Atlantic Prawn salad was huge and didn’t disappoint as a repeat performance. Good comments on the fish and chips also granddaughter rated the ribs.
Service was good without being intrusive. Power cut just as we were going to pay, they were quite happy to take my number to pay later when power back on and that’s a lot of trust.
Very happy to recommend this pub.

Visited as part of our boating holiday during October half term 2021. We booked in advance (3 weeks or so before). I could not recommend highly enough. The food is only outclassed by the outstanding service. Welcomed with a smile, a brilliant waitress (Danni I think her name was) and followed by amazing food. We all ate really well, there was nothing but clear plates and every mouthful was beautiful.

It was our second visit in recent years and it was better than I rembered.

Between us we had fish and chips, pork ribs, lamb shank, pie of the day, bacon and cheese burger and kids pasta, all were great.

Put it on your list for somewhere to visit on a boat or not!

Menu very limited choice, not what it was in the past.. Service not friendly, or efficient rump steak extremely poor quality, to tough to eat, ordered medium rare - it was served rare.. The rest of the meals very average.. Will not be returning!

Had a couple of meals in here while we were on holiday and it was great! Very welcoming to us and our dogs. Food was great and they weren't rushing us out the door.
