“Fresh ingredients ruined.”
Reviewed 3 August 2014

Have been to lunch here several times before always a good experience, then the staff and ownership changed what a difference! Fresh fish overcome by bright yellow batter, two different shades of "chips" limp and tepid, salad ok. Child's meal of herby chicken strips in a crunchy coating turned out to be slices of dried chicken breast. The other meals were no better. Waiting staff only were not interested in my complaints but argued with me. Will not go again and will advise others not too. Such a shame it used to be so nice and so did the staff. Good job there are plenty of other good eating places nearby.

“Smoky & lacking in atmosphere”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

The cafe has had a complete change resulting in an open kitchen with fried breakfast smoke spreading into the dinning area. Whilst helpful and numerous the staff seemed to lack the friendly welcoming characteristics that is so important especially in the UK when the weather often means people need to take for cover. Please consider closing off the kitchen it was really unpleasant to sit in the cafe.
