i stayed at the ingleneuk lodge in nov 2011 with my partner , i didn`t know the lodge existed and stumbled across it when looking for a nights stay. sooo glad i did.firstly such a warm welcome from the lady owner lindsay , then to my great supprise an open fire arrr what a delight. the room was both clean and comfortable. we curled up on the comfy sofas in the lounge and chilled for the night ,with the bar at hand and a helpful owner called rod at hand to serve us for as long as we wished. i would love to go back there and i can imagine when theres snow on the ground it being very romantic and in the summer some great woodland walks around. a very special place.

Approximately half-way between Diss and Thetford, this delightful, small, licenced hotel,is very conveniently situated for exploring all parts of Norfolk and Suffolk,It would also be an ideal place to retreat for a while from the stresses of everyday living.

Off a quiet by-road,it is beautifully situated, in a wooded garden, full of birds- including some rarely seen nowadays, such as nuthatches. at night car headlights caught rabbits scampering into the shrubbery

Both bedrooms and public rooms are attractively and comfortable furnished

The lavish cooked breakfasts left my ( usually ever hungry) companion, feeling he had no need - or even desire - for lunch! Evening meals are not automatically available, but
Lindsay and Rod Middleton will provide them if asked in advance. Indeed nothing seemed too much trouble for this friendly and welcoming couple.

The hotel is all on the ground floor and well equipped to meet the needs of those with mobiliy problems.

At £45 per night per person for bed and breakfast, we thought Ingleneuk not only a gem, but a real bargain.!

Stayed here for my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary - which Ingleneuk Lodge also hosted and were joined by 30+ of my extended family. Rod & Lindsay who own Ingleneuk Lodge could not have been more helpful. The B&B is immaculately clean with nicely furnished rooms a lovely lounge to sit in and a big garden to wander in. Breakfasts were big & lovely. Hopton village is very near by. Ingleneuk Lodge could not have been more helpful and they helped my parents to have a wonderful Golden Wedding Anniversary. Perfect for a quiet weekend or a larger gathering! Highly recommended. It is not a trendy boutique b&b but a very well run, friendly and good value B&B.
