This is a beautiful place run by Adam and Sally they think of everything and always make the extra special touches that makes me want to return time and time again so peacefull
Our lodge had views over the lake and we enjoyed feeding both the fish and ducks we missed the runner duck who had gone home.
the weather was lovely so we could sit out and have breakfast over looking the lake can't wait to go back again soon.

We have just got back from a mid week break at weybread lakes. We stayed in willow lodge, words can't describe how amazing it was the pictures don't do it justice it's absolutely amazing. We went to get away from everything as we had just found out we are expecting so wanted to just chill and that's exactly what we did. Fishing was brilliant will your own peg. We even had a day on the other lake which is £10 a day and caught 15lb carp. Cabin has everything you could think of even a fly swatter which came in very handy ;-). Would highly recommend to anyone.

Have just returned from a long weekend break at Weybread Lakes in Willow Lodge to say it was exceptional and luxurious would be an understatement. Just 3 super luxury lodges, tucked away around their own lake. Our lodge was spacious and beautiful, finished to a high spec. with quality appliances fitted throughout. Spacious bedroom with French doors opening onto the deck and lakeside. Luxury bath and shower room. Own sauna. Large lounge / dining room again with French doors onto the deck and lakeside. There was a large wall mounted flat screen TV. A bespoke sound system with speakers throughout the whole lodge (including the sauna and bathroom). The fully fitted kitchen with Neff appliances was also to a high standard.
Outside on the deck is your private hot tub, screened for privacy from where 30ft and just a few steps away is the lodge's own fishing peg. The lake has only 3 pegs - one for each lodge and can not be fished from anywhere else. I was told by the owner that probably something like
only 30% or so of guests come to fish, so the lake fishes extremely well for those of us that enjoy the sport, he said he was sure that there were many fish that had never even yet been caught.
I fished on and off for two days and caught a good selection, ranging from lots of small perch, but once through them tench, bream & carp a plenty. My best fish over the weekend were a couple of tench at 4lb + and a mirror carp at 8lb+. Not monsters but dam good sport. Plenty of other fish at 2lb - 3lb. All the fish in this lake I was told were upto about 12lb - 14lb approx. For more serious anglers there is a specialist carp lake just 200 or so yards away for which you have to buy a day ticket, but with carp more in the 20lb - 30lb range.
In the evenings there are a number of local villages nearby with pubs, hotels and take aways
for eating choices should you choose.
It really would be very easy to spend days without hardly ever leaving your own private, luxury hideaway. Turn off the phone. Turn off the lap top or ipad. Chill ...... Relax ........Enjoy :-)

Just got back from a short break at Weybread Lakes. This is the second time we have stayed there. This time we had Maple Lodge and it was immaculate and luxurious throughout. All the amenities you could need with lovey bath in the bedroom leading out onto the decking with hot tub and sauna.A welcome pack of eggs, tea, coffee and biscuits. Every little thing is thought of here. The setting is quiet and relaxing, the perfect place to get away from it all and unwind. We will certainly go back again.

We have holidayed in a number of similar lodges over recent years. All have been comfortable but this one is exceptional.

It is a proper log house which has been specified to a very high standard with high quality appliances (Neff, Bosch, LG, Panasonic etc) and has underfloor heating and ceiling fans. We needed a new kettle & toaster at home & were so impressed with the ones here that we have been out & bought the same for home!

Beautiful bathroom with a large walk-in shower and deep double-ended bath. My wife has always preferred bathing to showering but this shower is so good that she has been converted! The sauna is a proper Scandinavian lie-down job (although I think the other two lodges have slightly smaller saunas).

Our lodge has a deck overlooking the lake which is huge - running the full length of the lodge. Equipped with table, chairs and loungers, it is great for meals outside and for feeding the Coots, ducks & geese which have been particularly entertaining. There is a second seating area at the side by the hot tub so that you can chase or avoid the sun. Hot tub is checked twice daily and well maintained as are all the grounds.

The owner keeps a flock of 20 free range hens at the farmhouse so very tasty eggs are available at very reasonable cost.

This is not an area of the country that we have visited before but we have found plenty to do during our 11 day stay. Visited Sandringham and Ely (both long drives of about 50 miles each way). Closer to home, visited Norwich & had excellent meal in Cathedral Refectory. Also visited delightful Suffolk coast towns of Southwold, Aldeburgh & Thorpness. Pleasant walks in Waveney valley at Carlton Marsh & Oulton Broad. However, lodge is so comfortable that we have spent a lot of time relaxing in the lodge & on the deck.

On change-over day we had a look at the other lodges and we would happily stay in any of them. We'll be sad to leave and are planning a return visit.

We went there when there was just one luxury lodge up and running. It was predominantly a fishing holiday for my husband with a bit of luxury for me! The fishing on the lake outside the cabin was ok- lots of little fish.
On the main lake it was great. Hubby caught his first crucean carp and his biggest ghost carp.
The cabin itself was brilliant! Surround sound system, sauna, hottub, under floor heating and a super kingside bed!! Just brilliant!

We went as a couple on a surprise weekend break away, and stayed in Maple Lodge.
Facilities are fabulous; hot tube, sauna, great kitchen, comfortable bed, walk in shower, white goods etc. Everything was clean, up to date.. no faults. Will visit again. :)
